Friendly welcome by very efficient and helpful check in staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Printed off map for directions to a specific restaurant we wanted to visit. Convenient free parking with CCTV. Five minute walk to Hull Old Town. Room spotlessy clean and very comfortable with views across the Humber. Excelleant value for money. I stay in two different sorts of hotel, either 'character' destinations or purely functional sleeping and resting places. Premier Inns are in the latter category and I find them very good, much better for instance than the Radisson Park Inn equivalent. The location was brilliant for very easy access to the city and our room had a good view of the city and the Humber Bridge. The reception - lounge and bar at 7th floor level the views are excellent and its a very pleasant area to just sit and take in the views or dine and drink. clean and modern, excellent staff who are very pleasant and very helpful , meal deal was good value, enough variety and well cooked and presented. hotel is in a good location for the center of hull and the deep, both 5 mins walk. Very nice room and standard of décor/accommodation. Staff very helpful. Card in the room with manager and general manager contact details gave confidence. Very good breakfast facilities. The hotel was what you expect from a Premier Inn, in that inside they are all very much alike, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the restuarnt on site was very good. The rooms were really comfortable. Didn't like the room where the breakfast was laid out, too small. Had to ask for cups and cutlery as they had all been used. Waited 6 cutlery. The staff shined, they were friendly and very helpful, and most of all they always looked happy!!! This is our second stay at Premier Inn Hull and we will definitely be back. Hotel staff were brilliant, particularly as my letsbookhotel.com reservation was wrongly put in the system. Free to park and lovely service and lovely spacious rooms. Everything was great. ....I stayed for two hot days and there was no option for opening a window, so it was stuffy and I ended up drawing the curtains against the sun. entrance to the hotel isnt the best. Because the accommodation starts on the eight floor the lifts are in constant demand. 2No lifts only one working ! Leaks in the bathroom - meant that the bathroom floor was covered in water. nothing. No swimming pool. Lifts a bit slow and continue up when wishing to go down. Only one tea bag and milk jigger per person. Only one bath towel for the room. Bed lovely size but slightly too firm (not a big issue but not quite perfect :-). Nothing to complain about at all. No shaving point in the bathroom. With the reception being on the 7th floor and needing to access this via a lift or 7 flights of staires it was frustrating when one of the 2 lifts was out of order over the entire 3 days we stayed. The room breakfast was set out was far too small causing congestion. N/A. You really need a car to go anywhere and not many places that are nice to eat out in walking distance. Bacon needs to be grilled- not baked. Sausages need to be grilled Would be nice to have treacle! More choice of muffins. Nothing!. only one lift working when we visited this caused delays as the hotel is on the 7th floor upwards. The only complaint we had was that the beds were very hard and uncormfortable, resulting in a bad nights sleep. Proximity to the dual carriageway. No decaf tea or coffee in room, only caffeinated. Our room was the same side as the ring road and I was surprised at the level of noise throughout the night. More tea/coffee in the room. Green tea or Earl Grey would have been nice. nothing. Can't think of anything. the breakfast was of poor quality. The absence of directions when reaching the car parking area. the food for breakfast was quite good the evening meal was awful i should have sent it back but we had little grandson with us and he was hungrey. N/A. had difficulty working air conditioning. breakfast was a little expensive. A more conveniently positioned car park which did seem to be completeley in use. Only one lift working. Given location of reception and exit was ridiculous that I thie broken one was notvrepaied more quickly. One of the lifts had broken down. lift to get to reception and all floors, lifts would go up and down past your floor, when waiting for lift which you have to get due to floors not starting untill the seven floor, one will come eventually but will be full and when you do get one the people inside would say we were supposed to going up but have been up and down for 10mins. Food ( steak was overdone, vegetables close to uneatable) - but was given a free dessert.
