    Chris and Karen are fantastic hosts and cannot do enough for you. My son plays for Torquay United and lives a long way from home so we don't get to see him very often, Karen allowed him to come and join us for breakfast even though he never stayed at the baytree.     The stay was magnificent. Hotel staff were very helpful and extreemly polite, the hotel itself was very clean and tidy, and the room was refurbished to a very high standard. My partner and i were very impressed. - Made us feel very welcome, tea and biscuits on arrival. Good restaurant recommendation and couldn't have been more accommodating.

    We've eaten at the Bickley Mill several times and have been highly impressed with the quality of the food and service, so when we needed to choose a hotel in the area Bickley Mill was top of the list.     When arriving at Thornhill I found the owner very friendly and accommodating with my requests. The room was clean tidy and comfortable. I would be pleased to recommend this hotel to anyone. - My husband and i came to the Teignmouth area for our honeymoon and return for our 25th wedding anniversary. When we got to our room there was an anniversary card from Nicky and Brian.Nicky had also booked us a table at a local restaurent.Brian was a great chef and breakfast was very good. They were both very helpful and friendly. Our room had agreat view of the sea and we had a lovely weekend at Thornhill. Definitely come again.

    The location was spectacular, very quiet and tranquil with the sea lapping just feet away. There was a very friendly welcome throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. The staff was friendly and fantastic and accommodated us with a meal upon our arrival even though it was after the scheduled time.     This was my 1st trip since the refurbishment and what a great job they have done with the re decoration of the Bedrooms & all other areas and the Dining Room has been very tastefully transformed into a very stylish area with an excellent cooking standard to match and very friendly attentive service.     overall it was an excellent stay. nice and clean, good price and friendly staff.its just a pity about car park as plymouth is really bad for free parking.would use hotel again despite that. - the privacy the peace but the knowledge that we could pop to the bar or resteraunt if we wanted to mingle.
