  the hotel was superb, the room was very much a 'country house' style and was one of the nicest hotel rooms that I have stayed in. The breakfast was freshly cooked using local produce and the staff were very friendly and helpful.   Positive comments:- Location perfect; hotel, room and staff were excellent, nothing is ever a problem from arrival to departure. Room was a superior - really surprised me contemporary yet old world sophistication. First visit had a gym excellent for me arriving after long trip. The accommodation was also very nice, and beautifully kept. The food was excellent as was the service in the restaurant. The only thing I would say is that you should be prepared to pay over £100 for a meal for 2 people, which some might consider a little pricey.

  Good Morning. I am not prone to writing such mails but I feel I have to make some comments about a recent stay at your Cliffden Hotel in Teignmouth from Friday 19th July to Sunday 21st. I have to say that having booked the hotel through a proprietary web site, we hadn’t realised the ‘’duality of purpose of the hotel, and were a little surprised to... what people say » meet so many ‘sight impaired’ people. This letter is to convey nothing but highest praise and to say we enjoyed our all too short stay. The tariffs - After reading some of the reviews, I was a little dubious but we arrived, checked in and it was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and well stocked - we even had a fan which was much appreciated over the very hot weekend. My husband and I are in our 50's and it was our first weekend away with our two dogs. They too were made to feel very welcome. The gardens were lovely and we spent alot of time of the terrace which could have done with a little more TLC, but we loved i

  We found our whole experience of Cott Inn very comfortable, homely and friendly. The atmosphere of the building was fascinating, being hundreds of years old.
