Lovely hotel, full of character and the staff are wonderful, Rob the owner couldn't of been more helpful, a mine of information about the local area. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, and tasteful decor in a lovely old building. Breakfast was delicious, and wish we'd tried the restaurant in the evening, the pizza looked amazing. Just a short 1/2 mile walk along the path opposite the hotel to the centre of Bideford. Breakfast was very good, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Cycle hire on the Tarka Trail in approx 1 mile away. The view from the bedroom and dining room over the fiver was superb.
