    This lovely little guest house is by far one of the best we have ever stayed in. From the friendly and helpful staff to the quality of the furnishings and even the detail of the furnishings, right down to the location. It was exceptionally clean and well presented. Definitely a - My wife and I stayed a few nights at The Ashberry Guest House. it is ideally located for both Penrith town centre and the North Lakes, northern M6 area. The owners are very helpful but not overbearing. The guest house itself is very modern, clean and comfortable. And the full English breakfast was very nice. Overall a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend it.

The garden and sunroom were great and unlike hotels we've stayed at where we were too uncomfortable to use the facitilities, Sue made us feel really at home and we really enjoyed lounging in the sun. Also the atmosphere in the hotel lounge and bar was very pleasant. All the staff were obliging and helpful. Not many hotels offer this quality of accomodation and facilities. Only thing it would be short on is maybe leasure facility like pool\sauna but guess this would make it a Hotel rather than a pub. Most pleasant and relaxing break.

Breakfast was exceptional due to the choice and flexibility of options available. Owners and staff were friendly, but left you to your own devices, which was good. Martin and Sue are wonderful, warm hosts. Breakfast was delicious each morning! Our rooms were charming and comfortable.
