The food was just wonderful; the room was beautifully appointed; the location was delightful with lovely views; the service was outstanding. I stayed here by myself for 2 nights. I had a standard single room, which was just what I need with plenty of space too. The beds were comfy, tea and coffee making facilities and some delicious homemade shortbread provided too. I felt very welcome from the minute I stepped through the door, especially as it was the first time I'd stayed away on my own. Wow, we travel alot but have rarley found such a friendly, quality Inn (hotel.) The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. the bathroom was well appointed with an amazing shower. the highlight though was the food and drink, an incredible atmosphere in the bar with real ales and whiskies galore.
