  I booked this hotel for someone else to stay. Unfortunatly this person was taken ill during her visit. The hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful, helped her in every way, visited her in hospital, and collected her when she was discharged. She has nothing but praise for the hotel and its staff - From the minute we arrived the welcome said it all... what people say » , everyone couldnt do enough to make us feel so at home. On my next visit will definately come back here to stay.

  I liked the whole experience of staying at the Piersland. We received a warm welcome and were shown to the most beautiful room which had a wonderful bathroom almost as big as the room. The welcome in the dining room was equally as good and the food and wine were excellent. As we had to leave next morning to catch an early ferry, the staff went out... what people say » of their way to make sure that we had a super breakfast. We will certainly be going back and making sure our friends know about it. - I was at a wedding at a nearby hotel and did not have the opportunity to sample all of the Piersland's facilities. However I did find the staff and bar service first class. The room was the lodge/cottage to the left. My partner and I were very pleasantly surprised by the comfort and layout. Room service breakfast was more than sufficient.

  We were made to feel very welcome on arrival at reception. The receptionist was cheerful, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful.
