Absolutely fantastic!! Will definitely be returning. Booked up with 3 other friends for a girls weekend and could not fault this hotel at all. Fantastic staff on reception who were always happy to advise where to go for a night out, 2 minute walk from the train station and within walking distance to bars and 'the gate'. Rooms were great, loads of space and very clean! Hoping to visit back very soon, excellent value for money!!.

Appreciated the option of Grab & Go Breakfast, included in price - pastries, fruit, juice cartons, coffee machine. Reception staff were friendly and professional. They made the extra effort to offer additional info, maps etc. Location, just a few minutes walk behind the train station, but away from the noise of the centre. An excellent, beautifully restored, apartment in a surprisingly quiet backwater of Newcastle within easy walking distance of the station and the rest of the city. Fifteen minutes walk from the university so great for conferences. All facilities of a high standard and lovely friendly staff. Can't fault these apartments. This hotel was the most fantastic hotel we have ever stayed at. we could not believe our eyes when we saw the room, huge and superb facilities, friendly staff, pure luxury for a very good price. Superb value for money, we did not want to leave. we will definately be staying here again. Faultless. The suite we had was massive, had a living room and fully equipped kitchen, nicely furnished and decorated. Had not expected such a designer place in Newcastle! Coffee machine in hallway - all day free coffee or tea available. Near central station, short walk to city centre, riverside etc. The apartment was fantastic and very well priced. It was spacious, clean and modern with everything you need for a comfortable stay whether it be short or long. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Location wise it was pretty much within reach of everything the city has to offer. The best thing about the stay was showing up after 14 of travel from overseas and walking into an apartment that felt like home. It was a wonderful place to relax and call home base for a few days. Nothing, it was perfect. Bathroom was very small. Windows could only be opened a little so the room didn't cool off enough (it was unusually hot though). I prefer a traditional breakfast setting over the offered "Grab and Go" option, but I guess that keeps costs down for the hotel and ultimately for the traveller... Our room (101) was next to entrance and reception so was a bit noisy sometimes. The breakfast wasn't varied enough and some of the pastries could have been better quality, but it filled a gap until lunch which means it can't have been all that bad!. We liked it all!. The decor is aimed very much at men; there's nothing very soft about it so we didn't feel entirely at home in the living room. Bedroom was better because the bed was so comfortable. Nothing. people need to be aware that the breakfast is only tea, juice and a pastry. I personally did not have an issue with this as we had prepared breakfast ourselves. directions were confusing. Simple directions are: take a right out of the station and take a right at the second tunnel. Roomzzz is on your left 300 (90 m) feet away. The sofa and chairs in the room. Not relaxing to sit in!!. only stayed for 1 night and wished it had been longer. Some noise during the night. Probably suits longer stay than an over-nighter. Breakfast wasn't entirely inspiring, the option of a bit of fruit would have been nice and little jam and butter packets! The flashing of the fire alarm right over the bed was a bit annoying while trying to get to sleep. But that's being incredibly picky and still the only faults to find! AMAZING HOTEL!. The noise from train station and the pigeons. Nothing. I would never stay in an apartment again - I object to the holding of money on your credit/debit card in case of damages - I am still trying to get my money back!. A bit too close to the rail noise late in the evening although it does stop altogether after about 23:30. No bad things to report!. The flashing fire alarm was tooooo bright and right above the bed! The pent house guests were sooooo loud, their footsteps were unreal, we were woken up at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep-which was annoying considering we had great difficulty getting to sleep with the flashing fire alarm! Told staff on check out, she apologised but offered no resolution!- Very disappointing as we left the place shattered, defeating the whole point of a hotel and a good nights sleep!. Check-out time - 12pm would be preferable!. Slightly dodgy location although v handy for the sage and town. Poor ventilation downstairs in room 102. Huge light leakage from window as curtains don't block out parking garage lights. Water set on extremely hot temperature in shower, unable to correct during our stay. just the proximity to the freight train tracks. Located near city centre but also next to casino. Very noisy at night especially after football match. Breakfast pretty basic. No Parking. The underfloor heating can get very warm but I believe they had a problem with the boiler at the time. first appartment was very cold but they moved me upstairs to attic which was much cosier. Height of the TV. No air con in hot weather. Parking no air con. Breakfast. You could hear the plumbing from other rooms. No parking!!. Breakfast. That there was no parking. What a great place for a city break or long stay, fully equipped kitchen beautiful furniture and friendly staff. Grab a few nights now before it is block booked.
