Hotel was great. Very clean rooms and hotel in general. Felt very secure and staff really friendly and helpful. Location is great and easy to park in various locations very near by. Would stay here again especially as the rate was fantastic. We stayed and attended a music event nearby- it was late when we got back and staff gave us take-out menu'... what people say » s etc as we had not eaten which was ideal. Didn't eat at hotel otherwise but there were some good offers on though you are within a couple of minutes - Location near the Manchester Piccadily train station, about 5 min by foot. Fascinating transformation of an old warehouse into a hotel without spoiling the integrity and exterior of the building. The temperature of the room remained pleasant despite the fact that it isn't possible to open the window. I guess the walls must be thick. Old iron shutters (rust and all!) kept out the bright sunshine during the day. Don't ... what people say » let rusty iron shutters put you off, the room is bright and pleasant. Very quiet location away from the madness of Saturday night in Manchester city - This is a very different sort of hotel. Its a former warehouse and so my room had no windows, which was slightly strange. This sad the bed was comfortable, the room very clean and nicely furnished. Where the hotel scores really high is in the communal areas. a very nice breakfast room, with an excellent home cooked breakfast, great bar and lots of airy space inside and out. There is an art house cinema, and a yoga center, both available to guests. Its really near Old Trafford and the Lowry ce
