We arrived on sunday, and left on wednesday. Room was very nice and clean. It was cleaned every day. Hotel staff was very friendly. We slept very good (no loud noises or anything). Location is very good. Very close to Manchester piccadily train station and close to the Apollo (where we went to see Alter Bridge on sunday) and close to the MEN arena (where we went to WWE on monday and tuesday).
all reviews » When we first walked into the Hotel It was very impressive and the staff were very friendly and helpful, The room was clean and had what we needed.The breakfast was second to none . The location is right in the heart of the city with the bus stop 1 min away and train station approx 5 mins. So top marks all around. Thank you. Apart from a slight hiccup with the computer at check-in (which I was early for anyway) this was an ideal hotel for my overnight stay and perfectly located in the city centre. Reception was friendly and helpful, room service prompt, nice comfortable bed and certainly value for money. For £45 for a double room the room was lovely and not small at all. The hotel itself I thought was beautiful and very classy! We were given lots of little freebies in the room (which I know is normal but it's still a nice suprise!) and overall my stay there was excellent!. Great location 2 minute walk to the centre. The hotel's french restaurant had excellent food for evening meals. Good hearty breakfast in the morning with lots of choice. Friendly staff who helped me with my special dietary needs. I'd previously stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Wolverhampton, and wasn't too impressed. However, this was a much more pleasant stay and the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff always happy to help.Clean, Comfortable and had all the necessary,like teamaking,tv ect.Location was also excellent.,accessible to station,coach station and shops .All within walking distance if not too much luggage to carry. It was a little hot in the rooms, the air conditioning system could do with reviewing. Everything was great. elevators a bit slowly. missed sky sports on room. I had just one problem with the bed. The mattress was awful - hard springs too close to the body. I solved it by turning the mattress and the other side was much better.Even though on 4 th floor if window open a lot of noise from street. Checking in was a nightmare with a large queue.

- At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit, the A556 (for Manchester).

- Take the 2nd left into Medlock Street.

From the East:
- Exit the M62 at junction 18 and turn left for Manchester.
