The hotel was perfect for a night stay either before or after a flight out of Gatwick airport. The hotel had a well organized shuttle service for airport drop offs in the morning. The breakfast in the morning was cooked to order for us and had a large selection. The staff were extremely friendly and alwaysvery happy to help. My room was very clean and the location of the hotel is excellent for those travellers like myself who want to stay more than one night.

Alittle beautiful Horley city is in a short walking distanse, not ashopping paradise though. The only comment I would make, apart frm saying that I love coming to your hotel because of its quiet atmosphere and hospitality, is that the rooms need a more careful dusting and cleaning.I was on the ground floor and the people above me made a lot of noise until about one o'clock in the morning. Creaking floorboards, but due to the age of the building this is unavoidable.I beleive buffet breakfast is better. We wanted to reach airport bit early, waiting for the cook to provide english breakfast took time and there were only few persons that time. So it may be more time consuming and waiting time if it is busy with more people. I believe buffet is better. The cook was not very accomodating on our 2nd stay. He did not even ask us how we would like the eggs cooked. We received what he decided for us!. Sink is in the bedroom and should be in the bathroom, hairdryer can only be used in bedroom where only 1 plugsocket is available. not really applicable..but getting suitcases up and down stairs was not easy....however night driver carried suitcase to our room on late arrival (nice touch ). It took me a while on the web sight to find how to access theshuttle service. I wasn't overly keen on stale croissants at early breakfast but appreciated I could at least have a breakfast so early. no. Too many 'Don't do this' 'Don't do that' type of notices in the room. The room crammed with additional bunk beds.Rate included breakfast but since I had to be at airport at 6am this was obviously not available. Possibility vacum-packed roll etc ?. Hotel was locked shut if they needed to do airport run,so you had towait for their return as wasnt anyone else about!. My bed sloped.....

The Gatwick White House Hotel is a large purpose built hotel and is conveniently located just 1.5 miles from Gatwick Airport and 10 minutes walk to the town center of Horley with its numerous shops, restaurant, pubs, banks and post office. Bar and restaurant facilities are available within the hotel.

Important information to guests

Upon arrival at south terminal of Gatwick Airport, guests must go to the ground floor level (following the signs to bus stops number 1 and 10). Bus stop number 8 and 9 is pick up for south terminal and for North terminal Pick up point is bus stop number 12, there is a yellow freephone. Please dial 89101 to request a pick-up car or use the phone number on the Booking Confirmation. The transfer bus will arrive within 10-20 minutes. The shuttle is charged at GBP 6 per trip, and takes approximately 15 minutes. It is available 24-hours. The airport shuttle is available without prior reservation. Parking is charged at GBP 12 per car per night. All payments are due on arrival at the hotel, using a credit card, a debit card or cash. If the card holder is not present, full card-holder details must be given, in writing, before arrival. Wheelchair accessible ground floor rooms are available on request. Dial 89101 (it is free) direct to our hotel and we will send our courtesy car to the airport within 10-20 minutes. The hotel provides a 24 hour airport transfer service that is free between 09:00 and 22:00. From the M25 exit at junction 7 towards Gatwick Airport (M23). From the M23 exit at junction 9 and follow the signs for Gatwick Airport. Go past the South Terminal and then turn right at the North Terminal roundabout. Take the fourth exit following the signs for the A23 to Redhill. At the next roundabout take the third exit, still following the A23 into Horley. Take the fourth right into Church Road. The Gatwick White House Hotel is immediately on the left. By Train: From Brighton or London Victoria go to Horley railway station or Gatwick Airport railway station.
