Location of the Hotel. Close to town but out from the city. Nice way to relax before the flight home. The Six Bells pub around the corner is a great place to socialize and have a bite to eat. Nice getting a drive to and from the Gatwick Airport. Would stay here again. Good cooked breakfast in the am; plenty to chose from. Very Relaxing and Welcoming. Extended parking for several weeks very reasonable to leave one's car. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Don and Ginny from Nova Scotia.
all reviews » guest houses were not my usual places to stay, but now I'll have to reconsider that having been so cordially treated at GH The single room was small but comfortable. Plumbing was good. Breakfasts good too. Short walk to the 6 Bells Pub but a bit scary walking home through the graveyard after 2 pints, a bottle of wine and an Irish Coffee. Thank you, hosts Tony & Linda. Location to the airport and the wonderful 15th Century pub nearby. We have stayed here a few times now and it is always a pleasure to visit, I would not think of staying anywhere else. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with a wonderful breakfast, rooms are warm and clean, what more could you want. Nice room with a modern bathroom. Very friendly and helpful owner, who provided a great service by driving us to the airport at no extra cost! As it was very hot the night we stayed, the fan in our room was very much appreciated.
