This is a rarity, a lovely small hotel, locally managed and with oodles of character. The staff care about their jobs and wish to see that their guests have a wonderful time. Top this off with a great kitchen, enviable room appointments, nice bathrooms. It's a winning mix for an airport hotel. So much more desirable than the big concrete boxes that surround Manchester Airport.all reviews
I have stayed at this hotel many times, I have always found the staff to be genuinely friendly and polite. Nothing is too much trouble, the hotel itself is very welcoming and the bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. I love staying here and would chose it everytime.The whole package from arriving at airport, being picked up having a lovely meal, ery fiendly staff everthing will book again. Same price as the airport hotels and only 5-10 mons away from airport. would stay there in future.The staff were very heplful and we would stay there again, we loved it. A driver picked us up from the airport and dropped us back when we were leaving.... We can not praise the staff enough... they were excellent *****. Helpful staff, nice rooms, good breakfast, very comfortable sitting rooms and bar for a relaxing evening, and driver services were really helpful for picking us and taking us to airport (thanks George :)). It contradicts the wonderful georgian exterior and reception area of the hotel. TV in room needs to be higher so it can be seen over the top of the bed.The breakfast (not included in price) seemed expensive for the quality - otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - GREAT way to end our three week holiday!. Perhaps the rabbit warren aspect of getting to the room was a bit of a negative but at the same time it also made it interesting.expensive restaurant menu!. Being woken up at 0549 by loud noises in the water pipes near our room.Needs more desk staff, the one man who was on was very hurried and harried.Noisy plumbing. price. I think breakfast should be included in the price.Drinks were rather expensive.Room was far too hot and window and air con not working. Had to leave room early as could not stand the heat.
