Very friendly welcome. We were in Edinburgh to see the rugby match and
the Granville was one of a few places to stay that didn't demand you
booked both the Friday and Saturday nights or else charged more than
usual for the Saturday night. It is walking distance to the centre. It
was comfortable and quiet. A very reasonable breakfast was included in
the very reasonable price and we were able to park the car in front of
the guesthouse! Everything we needed for short stay on the city. all reviews »
Staff very friendly and helpful, willing to provide anything we needed. Room fairly large with comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast in lovely front room. Good location near canal and we could walk into city in 20 mins.
Loved everything about this B&B, especially the staff who was very

Room was very basic but nice and clean. Sanitary accomm very small but for a couple of nights was doable.

The house owner is kind and breakfast is good.
Our on-line booking hadn't been picked up but when I rang the day
before to check the booking the proprieter said it wasn't a problem
and was able to accommodate the two room booking I had made.
Ground floor room was rather noisy during the day. No problem at night.

Would not say dislike, but was a little disappointed not full english breakfast. However, this was due to family illness and the staff did pull out all the stops to cater for a gluten free diet and diabetic diet extremely well. Was very impressed!.

Breakfast was not very good.
Very noisy late at night with guests talking in entryway and dining room with sound coming right up the stairs.
The bathroom is really small and the location of the hotel is not very good. It need at least 45 mins from city center by walk.
