    Very beautiful surroundings, the helpfulness and efficiency of staff and the high quality of the food. - Other than BandB, I did not use any facility. But good secure parking facility adjacent to the hotel was welcome.

    I stayed two nights in two different buildings. In the main building I like the ice-making machine and the fridge in the room. It was comfortable and convenient. In the annex my room was very comfortable and spacious (a family room) with a pleasant view over the town. There was a complimentary sherry, which I'm unsure whether I liked or not. The s... what people say » herry was vile, but the gesture was amusing in a quaint way. There was real milk in the fridge downstairs, which was a definite plus. The bathroom was - Good value relatively close to North Station. My room was upstairs and had nice view over allotments and trees. The whole place has been designed for practical travelers who don't want all the twee frue frue rubbish just a reasonably priced, pleasant place with good bathroom, to get a good nights sleep and collect oneself for the day ahead. I paid for the room only but the breakfast looked like good value and served in an attractive room. Good supply of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and nice touch w

    As always if you want a good nights sleep or a night away from the kids, then you won't be disturbed at a premier. Good value and always clean, plus if your over six foot your feet aren't hanging over the edge of the bed, which is always nice! oh and its 2 metres from a nice quiet pub selling breakfast, dinner and lunch. - The reception ... what people say » team could not have been more helpful. We did Sudbury to the sea event so canoeing 25 miles for charity. The ladies offered us complimentary breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning and even have us some of their hot chocolate to take to bed... Just like being at home! Thanks ladies! Xx

    Very comfortable and spacious room - dining facilities first class - good range of meals in pleasant surroundings - staff in all areas excellent - helpful, friendly and efficient. We would definitely use it again and have already recommended it to friends. - Clean, comfortable and very near to the railway station. Also, it has a restaurant that'... what people say » s open until late, which was useful to us because were arriving mid-evening, and the hotel is quite a way away from the many restaurants in Colchester town.
