  The hotel is ideally situated near the seafront and shopping centre. The owner was very nice and welcoming and the hotel and the room was very clean and homely. Little extras like the bottle of water and nice toiletries made a great touch. The breakfast menu gave great choice and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend and stay again. -... what people say » My stay was only 2 nights but I was very pleased with the hotel,it's location,and also the food (English Breakfast) was 1st Class and prompt service, and served by friendly staff,always happy to oblige customers.I will definitely use it again when in the area and recommend it.

  We have never had such an hospitable and comfortable stay as we did inthis hotel. The owners were so helpful - nothing too much bother. Thebeds - unbelievable. Super comfort. - Excellent in every way - friendly proprietors, pleasant rooms, very goodbreakfast. No doubt the best place to stay in Clacton on Sea.

  The hotel was absolutely lovely and so clean and comfortable. The owners were delightful and constantly going out of their way to help us. The breakfast was delicious and hot every morning of our stay, and when we woke up on easter morning, myself and my partner were greeted at the breakfast table with an easter egg! Wonderf - Lovely family run Hotel. Clean, relaxed full English breakfast every day. The owner knew everybody by first name....lovely touch. Room hovered daily and clean towels. Child friendly! Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely talk with the Lady of the house....who recommended so points of interest to visit. Highly recommend and the location was at the centre of everything. I will definitely love to book again. Thank you

  Lovely hotel, although a short stay my daughter and I felt very at home! Clean, very well presented place to stay! Jill and Paul (who run it) were very friendly and even rung me to see if things were ok as it took me 7 hours to do a 3 hour journey due to an accident on the m25 . Breakfast provided was lovely and more than enough - When we pulled ... what people say » into the car park the owner came and collected our bags and once checked in took them to our room. The room was larger than I thought and were very bright and nicely decorated. The double bed was of a good size and very comfortable. The breakfast was nicely done and plenty of extra drinks if required.
