  Everything! On arrival we was greeted and showed to our room and the landlady was more than helpful. Paid and got a receipt. Lovely clean beds & room. Excellent Price for what we wanted the room for (Overnight stay), Great Value for us as we are on a budget, Nowhere cheaper and let us have an extra hour check out. It was literally a two minute walk to the beach, it was what you pay for, it's great for a couple of nights break. We would go back again and would recommend this place if your expectations aren't high. Shower didn't work but was fixed within a couple of hours after we told the owners who were really sweet and helpful

  This is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in and I travel a lot! Some country hotels are full of old furniture and have a really musty smell and dank feel to them. I'm told it's rustic. This hotel is not like that at all. It's clean, bright and airy and very comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was really goo... what people say » d. Breakfast was standard but the dinner was exceptional, definitely worth dining in for. Location is great, it's a wonderful walk down in to Bridling - We really liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and staff. The meals we had were excellent. We particularly liked the on site Bistro which served up good, value for money meals. The hotel was set in lovely grounds and was handy to get to the cliff top walks and set in a very pleasant village.

  We were made to feel welcome. Carol took breakfast orders when we arrived even discussing with the children what they would like to eat and how much. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The rooms were beautiful, spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and exceptionally well laid out with plenty of cupboard space had we been making a prolonged stay. Hotel location is very good for rail travellers being a five minute walk from rail station, - Very comfortable, clean room and the owners are lovely, helpful, very accommodating and so friendly. Great being able to park on the street right outside (permit issued by the owners on arrival). Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. I chose a full English which was cooked to perfection and much appreciated! Would stay here again and recommend it highly.

  I have just stayed here for 2 nights with my son last weekend. On arrival we got a very warm welcome from Jan and Billy, I don't really want to write this review because I want to keep this fantastic Guest House a secret. I have stayed in numerous places in this country and this one is the best. The room was immaculate and spotlessly clean with f... what people say » inishing touches e.g. shower gel, shampoo, sewing kit shower cap, shoe cleaner plus milk tea, coffee, drinking chocolate, bottled water, biscuits, the - Attention to detail was incredible. Parking no problem, food excellent and personal choices no problem. Kilburn supplied everything a girl could need for an overnight stay. They even upgraded me with my own ensuite so I didn't have to be seen in a dressing gown, which they even provide! Coffee and cake bar on arrival; bags carried up the stairs. All the other guests said 'good morning'. A good glass of red wine and conversation (if wanted), provided in the bar. Local knowledge excellent. K

  out of the way jewel, lovely and clean, single room was excellent, short walk down to the front near the spa. Owners were great and the breakfast was one of the best.
