The whole concept is fantastic!! The room was gorgeous, like having your own trendy pad in the city! The panoramic view was awesome as Birmingham went from daylight to sunset and then came to life with the bright lights of the evening.I would definitely stay again it was brilliant!. Loved eveything from the freshly squeezed orange juice to having proper coffee - lovely towels - all excellent. Also staff very friendly and I was allowed to check in at 8.30 am as my room was ready which I really appreciated after a long drive.

The views of the City and the location in the centre of the shopping area. The room was light, bright and very modern.Staff were excellent and friendly, and were very helpful. theyy had thought of everything you could possibly need. Excellent facilities and amazing panaramic views. It is extremely central, the view is magnificent and the facilities provide everything a traveller would need or want. I was very comfortable and enjoyed my stay very much.The apartments are very good value for money and in the centre of birmingham. Television reception a problem during our stay but we were notified of this.A slight hiccup with check-in , incorrect spelling of my name and wrong price despite both being available on line. The windows in the next door room were left open and in the high wind on 19th floor it cased the walls of our room to reverberate, and the big picture on the wall to bang against the wall very loudly. no telephone and no microwavw and only one key for each apartment. the satelite occasionally didn't work. The air-condition was on all the time, and sounded like a small airplane. However the human ear (or brain) is a wonderful thing, and most of the time one did not really notice it that much. There should be a thermostat on the towel-dryer in the master bathroom. It's a waste of electricity and not aligned with a "green" and ecological image. Fridge not working for complete stay.No coffee available for coffeemachine.No kitchen towel or paper hankies.No t towel or washing upliquid.Requires simple instructions to work bedroom/bathroom lights andheated towel rail operation.Lack of parking. No parking facilities,to bright blinders.Espresso machine did not seem to work properly. I wanted take a bath not shower. No a/c, No phone or interphone to contact the reception, No 24h Service. A number of equipment did not work in the room, and it was cold. I reported these things on three separate occassions and nothing was done about it, the room was not even visited by anyone to fix it.

Staying Cool's apartments are on the top two floors of the Rotunda - the city's iconic 60's landmark that has been wonderfully restored by Urban Splash.

The apartments come in four sizes - small, medium, large and extra large. Each one is individually styled with original artwork and specially commissioned furniture.
