We really enjoyed one of the larger rooms (2) with its private hammam. What a lovely location and delightful hosts! We took advantage of the tour led by the owner's father, Hasan. We had a great time seeing Capadoccia through his eyes! The breakfasts were wonderful and Osman, the owner thought of everything. This is like a combination of a luxury hotel and a homestay! Les Maisons de Cappadoce are beautifully restored local cave houses. Our studio Les Chevres was overlooking Pigeon Valley where we could see great examples of the rock formations which are typical of Cappadocia. We had a guide for 2days, arranged by Jacques, and this was well worth it.
Uchisar where Les Maisons are situated is quite a small town and much less commercialised than nearby Goreme.
