We are 3 friends and stayed in this hotel for a week in May'13.
Location is really perfect. This hotel is best for a city-trip. It's 5 minutes walk to Hagia Sofia and Blue Moscue. Tram station is also not so far.
The building is a historic one, after the restoration. Living in a tradition house is a special experience for travelers.
Staff is extremely kind and helpful!
Breakfast is quite simple but absolutely enough to start your day in Istanbul!

The staff here make the place what it is. They are all amazing and hilarious and work super hard to make your stay comfortable. The hostel is also a hotel and restaurant and bar and sheisha bar and the food is delicious and not too expensive. If you are a musician then they have guitars. a violin, bongos, tambourine and another crazy turkish instrument which I don't know the name of. Best hostel iv stayed in and Iv stayed in many many hostels!

It is centrally located in Sultanahmet or the old town of Istanbul that was formerly Constantinople. I was with my husband and another couple. The setup is ideal for this kind of group - ie 2 bedrooms - one combined with lounge area. IDEAL area for accessing many wonderful things to see as well as trams to take you there. Restaurants, Turkish Baths, shops, bazaar, hypodrome, mosques. 4 flights of stairs assist with any fitness program! Great
