-Location: perfect, only 2min walking from Galata Tower and also from Asmalimescit (Istiklal) where you can find a lot of good bars and restaurants. Just 5 min walking from Galata Brigde, which you will have to cross to arrive at the old part of the city. -Room: it was very clean and chic decorated, with AC. Room on the 4th floor, we didnt hear any noise from outside. -Service: very friendly, they offer us free breakfast which was very kind (I must say it was every day the same "turkish break.
all reviews » Very good location 2 minutes walking from galata tower, 10 minutes from galata bridge, 10 minutes from Beyouglu restaurants and stores. Our bedroom was small but silent, nice and clean perfect for a few days stay. The staff was great, Memhet is the number one. All the guys working there are very friendly, polite and kind. The breakfast was great and all the food we had at the brasserie was good qaulity food! I would definitely chose it again on a next visit to beautifull istanbul!. The front desk staff was very helpful (Mehmet) if I'm correct. The rooms where cleaned daily and there is nothing like sleeping on clean sheets. The location was awesome for weekend hang outs in the clubs and easy access to Istikal and Taksim boroughs. The terrace was awesome, but i didn't take the advantage as the temperature was incredible high in the summers. We stay in Suit Home Galata for 3-rd or 4-th time and service is constantly good. The hotel is well maintained. Staff is friendly, very good breakfast, charmy eating place which is a good option not only for breakfast but also for lunch or dinner. Location is just perfect. Excellent location near Galata Tower. Great rooftop bar with a view of the Bosphorus, closes at 11pm though. Close enough to walk to Taksim or the old district for site seeing. Cool stylish hotel super nearby the Galata Tower (200m). Clean spacious room, fancy furniture (not luxurious though). Nice breakfast in the café downstairs. I concur with some of the previous comments, the hotel is located in a relatively quiet area few steps away from Galata Tower and istiklal shopping/bars/restaurant street. Breakfast is fair. Room was clean. Touch of design here and there. Kind staff in general. It is the one of the best place to stay in Galata according to their equivalent hotels. Hotel's terrace view is perfect. We stayed in suite room, it was good and very clean, but it is decorated like a arab style. .Nothing, everything was very good. I cannot state a particular problem. I enjoyed my stay... Hot water kept going in and out during a 5 minute shower. Tolerable though. Not really the hotel's fault, but it was very hard for the taxi drivers to find the street. Too many one way streets. Best to give the taxi driver the hotel's phone number if they'll do that. We also just started asking them to take us to Galata Tower, its only a 2 minute walk from there. No mini bar in room,. The fridge made some noise at night, also some air condition equipment in front of the window over the bed. Too noise. I can't sleep. You can hear everything from outside. Checking out after 5 days. Vehicle access is challenge for non skilled drivers with the steep narrow streets around. Not recommended if you are with a car. Hotel pics are a bit deceiving. Small reception and stretch rooms.Some repairs are needed in the shower.Signs of mildew. Doggy street nearby, avoid accessing hotel vial Tophane tramway stop. Steep access via Karakoy. One member of the stuff a bit overfamiliar. No parking. Small room, the condition is not as what it says. No shower gel to bath, they answered they will bring me next day! The worst hotel in turkey I experience.
