The young people who manage Residence are lovely people and very interested in taking good care of their guests. We enjoyed conversation with them and we found them to be very helpful when we needed help getting information from Turkish businesses where the language barrier was too great to overcome ourselves. They make a very nice breakfast. Our little suite could not have been more comfortable. We checked out for a few days for a trip to Safranbolu and came back to stay at Residence L.V. .
all reviews » Excellent location close to all the tourist attractions that you must see. We went as a group of friends and the staff were very helpful and friendly they recommeneded places for us to visit and booked anything we needed. Our room was clean and very modernly designed. Its an ideal place if you are going to Istanbul for a short trip would definitley go here again. Nice place/location: main tram-line is just 2min walking (direct line to the airport and most city-sightseeings), city centre and Taksim square (with its main touristic city-street) is just 5min walking. Very nice views from 4th and 5th floor-rooms. Breakfast in bed. Very friendly staff. The hotel is very near to the transportation lines and the sight seeing area in Istanbul. Also, the view from the room was amazing just only 700 meters from taksim square. The staff were very friendly and English speaking and supportive.I stayed 2 weeks due to a long business trip. I felt myself in the comforts of home. Being in the center of the city , the silence and incredible view was fantastic... My choice will be again Residence La Vue at my next Istanbul trip. Excellent customer service, friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable, spacious, clean, serviced accommodation. We would gladly stay there again. Close to Tophane tram stop. Highly recommended. The location of the hotel was perfect, and the staff was very nice, helpsom and friendly. The vue from the top floor was amacing, and we spent a good time on the top terasse :). Staff are helpful,polite and so friendly.We liked our stay there.The location is very good.Metro station is near.We requested room with sea view.It was fantastic. We have only one word awesome. Don't miss it. The guys are incredible, fabulous, amazing, unbelievable....... The view and comfort at hotel was great..Magnifiecent view....Especially comfort with family excellent..... right place for travelling around historical places and city life in Istanbul. Great location & views. Nothing it is nit giod hotel at all. Location. The first night, we slept in the room behind the reception, and it was hard to sleep because of the noise from other guest and the receptionists talking – and the yelling of many cats in the small backyard. The bathroom on the 6.th floor stinks!. If you want to go to there by walk its difficult because of the hill. Anything .... Nothing really...but keep in mind that not all apartments will have the terrace seen in the pictures, and although you should be able to see part of the bosphorous from your apartment, the view will depend on what floor you are. Cats in the backyard :). It was a dirty shabby room . The carpet was disgusting . Slug in shower . I have fotos. The hotel is located in hill, place is not safe, rooms are not clean and old. I am not reccomending family to stay in this hotl. Tiny dirty expensive "lux penthause" they used to repair the hotel several years ago: falling off doorknobs, shaken windows.
