  We had an awesome time here at the Nantakarn Bungalows, the family who run the place were really helpful and extremely friendly. The Bungalows are ideally located on the island,40min scooter ride from haad rin (fullmoon beach) and only 30 mins from the chaloklum beach on the north of the island ( from here you can rent a kayak from the coral bunga... what people say » lows and two snorkelling kits fins included for 500baht per day, and row to the infamous bottle beach.) The bungalows are clean and well kept. Althoug - Bungalows right on the beachfront was amazing felt like your own private beach so quiet basic but fantastic bungalow with own ensuite and double bed fantastic for super cheap quiet beachfront place

  Free dvds to hire and snorkelling equipment. Great fruit shakes and the food was good. Definitely recommended and would stay again. - Decoration is nice. View is stunnin. You can see whole Salaad bay as well as mountain from balcony at the same time.

  I stayed for three nights and liked it very much. In combination with the price of 30e/night, I'm even giving it 5 stars (though for that money, naturally you're not getting one of the "private pool" suites but their smallest, still very comfortable double room.) It can happen that you get a room in one of the buildings up the steep mountain slope... what people say » though (I diddn't). The upside is a great view, the downside is: stairs. I think it would be a small, but valuable improvement if the hotel manager s - Staff is really helpful and frienly. Hotel is located on a very beautiful and quiet beach, it´s almost like a paradise! Special thanks of the birthdaycake and sparkling wine at the breakfast on 3.10.2013! =) The villa(number 5) with pool and seawiev is great! We had a great week in this resort and we really recommend this hotel to everybody!

  Beck's Resort is beautifully located at the beach with wonderful views of some little islands. It has a beach bar and a restaurant that serves great food, both Thai and Western style. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing and it is easy to meet people at the bar. It's a quiet place - and yet it was very easy to get to the full moon party and bac... what people say » k.   Haad Yao beach was by far the best beach I visited on Koh Phangan, and the High Life Bungalows had an amazing view of it perched on top of the rocks at the south of the beach.   Myself and four other friends travelled to thailand for 2 weeks. We stayed at 4 different hotels throughout the country and we all agreed Tharathip was the best. - very friendly staff, nice swimming pools, clean and comfortable rooms. only 5 min by taxi to the center would stay there again!

  Everything! The service is amazing with everything covered (even before you've really thought about it!) The room had breathtaking views from the enormous balcony whilst the room itself (Grand Seaview Penthouse) had two large bedrooms and a massive open plan kitchen/living area.   It's a lovely, nice and cosy hotel! Great value for money. It has everything you can wish for a relaxing vacation. -Rooms are very simple but discent.   Staff are friendly and super helpful! My friend and I stayed here for just one night before the Full Moon Party and the hotel offer a taxi service (350Baht return pp) to get there. Took about 20 mins and they always have someone waiting for anyone wanting to return (I though this was a great idea so you dont have to wait around if your wanting to ... what people say » leave) The hotel is located right next to the beach so ideal for relaxing. plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach - The surrounding area was fabulous, perfect for couples as you literally did not have to move from the resort with a supermarket,beach,restaurants and bars. Staff were brilliantly helpful and they picked us up from the pier for 120bht per person. Would definitely stay again, it was clean and romantic, but if your wanting to venture off around the island definitely rent a motorbike !

  Nice and clean bungalows, nice furniture and atmosphere. They are not so big, but it is completley enough. It has a private beach which is almost empty all the time - so it is perfect if you want to run from the noise of the Had Rin and have a relaxed time. Choice for breakfast is the same as in any other hotel. Nice stuff is always willing to hel... what people say » p (French people). Good for families with children. Location is on the one hand good, because it has its own beach, you could not hear the noise from - Very beautiful and relaxing place. We loved the view and liked the simple but stylish bungalows. The owners and staff were polite and helpful without being too pushy. Good food. (They even had home made jam at breakfast.) We appreciated the way the owners take care of the resort and try to make it better and better (for example the garden). Thongsala was so near that we could easily walk there once or even twice a day. The resort was quiet at nights.

  In terms of accommodation, the bungalows are fantastic value for money. It is a basic set up, with just enough room for a massive double bed and TV. The bathroom does only have a manually flushing toilet, but this is common throughout Asia and was not a problem for me. However most of all for me being a solo female traveller, it is Sonya the owner of Common Bungalows,that makes this place extra s - We stayed at Comon bungalow 4 days and we felt so lucky we found this place. Comon and his partner, Sanya created that warm feeling of being with friends, they helped us around with precious advise on what to do/see on the island, they shared with us local knowledge about Ko Phangan and Thailand generally. Comon played the guitar one evening for us, including a song written by him:) He is a very talented person and fully dedicated to his guests. The room we stayed in had ac, was clean and spaci
