  We had an awesome time here at the Nantakarn Bungalows, the family who run the place were really helpful and extremely friendly.   I stayed for three nights and liked it very much. In combination with the price of 30e/night, I'm even giving it 5 stars (though for that money, naturally you're not getting one of the "private pool" suites but their smallest, still very comfortable double room.) It can happen that you get a room in one of the buildings up the steep mountain slope... 别人怎么说 » though (I diddn't). The upside is a great view, the downside is: stairs. I think it would be a small, but valuable improvement if the hotel manager s - Staff is really helpful and frienly. Hotel is located on a very beautiful and quiet beach, it´s almost like a paradise! Special thanks of the birthdaycake and sparkling wine at the breakfast on 3.10.2013! =) The villa(number 5) with pool and seawiev is great! We had a great week in this resort and we really recommend this hotel to everybody!

  Haad Yao beach was by far the best beach I visited on Koh Phangan, and the High Life Bungalows had an amazing view of it perched on top of the rocks at the south of the beach.   Staff are friendly and super helpful! My friend and I stayed here for just one night before the Full Moon Party and the hotel offer a taxi service (350Baht return pp) to get there. Would definitely stay again, it was clean and romantic, but if your wanting to venture off around the island definitely rent a motorbike !

  Nice and clean bungalows, nice furniture and atmosphere. They are not so big, but it is completley enough. It has a private beach which is almost empty all the time - so it is perfect if you want to run from the noise of the Had Rin and have a relaxed time.
