  This is a review that I would much rather not do and rather keep Nice Sea Resort as much of a secret as possible, but that would not be fair. My wife and I were given a very warm welcome by Mr Nice, who personally showed us to our Bungalow & gave us a general run down of how things at the resort operated. On arrival we were welcomed and soon felt at home. We had an air conditioned bungalow that was spacious and clean and provided a comfortable base for our stay. Located on the beach (which was raked and cleaned every morning)with all necessary facilities and the bonus of an excellent restaurant the resort provides all that is needed.   The owners (Lise and her husband) were absolutely wonderful. They were accommodating, kind and called all the guests by their first names. The food was good, the beach was beautiful and quiet (with a very low tide in the morning, which made for great walks out in the sea). The sunset was incredible here and he bungalows were clean and comfortable.... what people say » We were very happy with our stay! Also, there is complimentary pick up and drop off at the pier, which was a great plus! There is a shower you can us - This hotel was absolutely perfect. The bungalows are very clean, quite big and beautiful, surrounded by flowers and 50 meters from the beach. The Heaven bar is right on the beach, great for a sunset drink and beyond. The owner is lovely, friendly and really caring about the clients that stay in her hotel. The food is delicious and you can get a lot of different meals for cheap prices. All in all, perfect value hotel, well located and a quiet beach, with an excellent and competent staff.

  I stayed for three nights and liked it very much. In combination with the price of 30e/night, I'm even giving it 5 stars (though for that money, naturally you're not getting one of the "private pool" suites but their smallest, still very comfortable double room.) It can happen that you get a room in one of the buildings up the steep mountain slope... what people say » though (I diddn't). The upside is a great view, the downside is: stairs. I think it would be a small, but valuable improvement if the hotel manager s - Staff is really helpful and frienly. Hotel is located on a very beautiful and quiet beach, it´s almost like a paradise! Special thanks of the birthdaycake and sparkling wine at the breakfast on 3.10.2013! =) The villa(number 5) with pool and seawiev is great! We had a great week in this resort and we really recommend this hotel to everybody!

  Beck's Resort is beautifully located at the beach with wonderful views of some little islands. It has a beach bar and a restaurant that serves great food, both Thai and Western style.   Haad Yao beach was by far the best beach I visited on Koh Phangan, and the High Life Bungalows had an amazing view of it perched on top of the rocks at the south of the beach.   Myself and four other friends travelled to thailand for 2 weeks. We stayed at 4 different hotels throughout the country and we all agreed Tharathip was the best. - very friendly staff, nice swimming pools, clean and comfortable rooms. only 5 min by taxi to the center would stay there again!

The room had breathtaking views from the enormous balcony whilst the room itself (Grand Seaview Penthouse) had two large bedrooms and a massive open plan kitchen/living area.
