  Our room was fantastic, (room 1101) It had a huge bed and massive sliding doors that pretty much lead you straight onto the pool, which was lovely, clean, water was warm and there was a shallow part to just sit in!   I arrived for a solo week of relaxation in the midst of several a long trip around Asia. From the minute I arrived, staff were friendly an helpful and although are not fluent in English, away have enough to get by with a smile (or have google translator on hand if they're stuck!). The room decoration is awesome, clean, modern, air c - was quite and clean, beds were softer than most we have stayed in before such as sugar palm resort. Close to the safer part of kata beach for swimming/surfing. New restaurants have opened up around the hotel with great food, a bit higher priced but you get what you pay for, this end of kata is really starting to take of. Friendly staff with a few who understand english very well, would stay here again.
