  We stayed in a Junior suite in the Thani wing (on beach) Bhuri wing is across the road and not as nice. We also had a family package which included a fantastic huge buffet breakfast and 10% of all other F & B in the resort. Great Happy Hour in beach bar. Also, just a short ride in taxi or tuk tuk to Kata or Karon shops and lots of restauran... what people say » ts. We stayed as well at Bang Tao beach at Outrigger Resort which was beautiful and more luxurious - but preferred Katathani due to its location and - Really nice hotel, lots of facilities, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Kata. The first night we had a lot of noise around our room in a ground floor Bhuri wing room (near to the breakfast restaurant), so the next morning I spoke to reception and they immediately moved us to a top floor room elsewhere in the Bhuri wing and after that we slept very well. Worth getting down to the little cafes on the beach and grab yourself a cheap coco

Restaurants, mini-shops, massage are near the hotel. 2. Staff is very friendly. We lived in room and in bungalow. Bungalow is enough comfortable, but we are not choosy. Towels, bed-linen... what people say » are white and clean, are changed every day. There is a big balcony (only in bungalow) with chairs and table, clothes-horse. Breakfast is standard fo - It was very cozy, with nice grounds and neat rooms. The beach is pretty close, as are quite a few restaurants for those who want to try something new. The staff were extremely helpful, though not all spoke very good English. Both the common area and the rooms are kept clean and tidy. Wi-fi is free and works without a hitch.
