I like having a "place of my own," where I felt like I was coming home in the evening and not to a hotel. Having a little kitchen, immediately makes you more "local" as you shop for groceries. Nice to get up and make a coffee when you want, instead of waiting for the breakfast to open. Very clean and tidy. Modern feel, though a bit rough around the edges. Still, no complaints, everything was clean and functioned. Very comfortable for four people.
all reviews » The apartment was very tasteful designed and close to the city centre. Generously in size and also very well equiped in the kitchen. The rooms are very clean and are wonderful for those who wanna cook themselves, for the food in Switzerland is incredibly expensive. Good room, staff, and location. Perfect for either a short or long stay. Although our stay was over the Christmas holiday period, there was someone on hand to help if required. Would highly recommend these apartments should you ever visit Zurich. Amenities provided and overall feeling. When we entered the apartment it was clean and got feeling of a good hotel room. Bathroom is small but very nice and also has a hair dryer. Kitchnette to cook food. Especially the spis very effective and of good quality so is microwave. We got a chance to keep our luggage until 5 PM even though checkout time was 11 AM. Zurich is a very expensive city so to be fair, you cannot expect much from the apartment although you pay very high price. With what you pay here you will not get what you can get in other European cities. It is very basic. However the location is excellent. And Zurich is a wonderful ciry. 1.The location was very good (15min walk to down town)and there was a great Italian restaurant just beside it which was fantastic. 2.free wifi helped a lot too make it pleasent for us 3.the girl who was in charge was nice friendly and helpfull 4.the price was reasonable,it was worth it. the dinning room is big & suitable for the kids,the staff were helpfull,. Location. The location was good but the amenities was not good enough. Although on a side street, there was actually quite a lot of street noise. The window needs to be open for the air, but there is a lot of noise coming from the main streets nearby, as the buildings make a great "canyon" and the sounds echo through it. There was nothing we didn't like. It took us almost 1 hour to get the keys with some kind Swiss people. Can't imagine how we could get in the hotel without the help. For those who come from abroad must contact the staffs at least 4days before arrive. There is no signboard (display) in the front of this apartment. I could find it but ... 1. 2 towels per 3 persons 2. not well thought out way of transferring the key! In a letter was one information (were sent the login and password), and in fact they are not even needed. Had to on the phone find out Where and How to take the key!!!. The bathroom is so small, toilet area is extremely narrow.The only negative comment I could have would be the lack of cooking utensils in the kitchen. A bit of a disappointment considering the timing of our stay meant we had to cook Christmas Dinner in the apartment, as the majority of restaurants are closed. Room is extremely small, one cannot move if there is lot of luggage to carry. Bathroom is very nice but very small. Care taker doesn't responded to the email and take a long time to answer phone calls. My room was not cleaned after 4 days as promised that was very disappointing. No aircondition or fan. So you have to let the window open at night. The stairs very steep and the laundry is at the basement of the building. You will have to share it with other tenant. 1.there was no reception or room service 2.there was no shampoo or soap 3.you have to carry your luggage to the floors,there is no elevator 4.the quality of pillows and towels were below average. only one bathroom in2 bedrooms appartment,the location is far from the city centre,the appartment was not clean,no parking for the cars. Exact location tough to find No nameplate on door Oven not cleaned with meat left inside(after charging 75chf for cleaning) Bed creaks a lot Heater not working Stairs up was cramped and difficult to take luggage up. No follow ups from staff. suggest that a fan be provided to keep air circulating in the rooms as there was little airflow from the open windows and quite hot in July. No reply on E-mail upon arrival and no one attended guests to the apartment through many calls. There was no lift leading to the unit assigned to us. And the light in the dining area was busted. And there was no percolator to boil water for hot drinks. It was very congested unlike appears in the photos, wifi not working at all, only 2 blankets were provided though i had booked for 4 pax. No ventilation, very noisy, blankets were not clean and torn. No micro wave. Next to the road and very noisy and inconvenient for sleeping, cudnt bear it and checked out the next morning though booked for 3 nights by paying high charges in other hotel due to last minute change. toilet not so clean. -too small beds -bed linen -pillows - not enough pots and tableware -no towels for hand and face -no soap in bathroom -no dishwasher. Bathroom was too small, there were no towels. Also no seating area even though its a studio. small place with nothing to offer.
