We loved our room and our stay, especially the view over the foreshores and the lake. The reception staff were ever so helpful and keen to assist with any problems. They were vivacious, but at the same time very professional. The tour desk staff were also the same, pointing us in the right direction. We loved the walk along the lake to get to and from the station and also the access to the different parts of your beautiful Luzern.

They attended to every need during our stay. The view of the lake is perfect. The rooms are luxurious. Make sure you sit at the Bar at night and have a drink. The Bar Manager is really very nice and a pleasure to talk to at the end of the day. We were treated like royalty at the hotel with the all of the staff knowing our names almost immediately. We found the restaurant to be first class had lunch and dinner there and enjoyed both meals immensely. Good location, that's one of my favorite areas of the town. Concierge and morning shift staff are extremely friendly and helpful . They are considerate but not too over. Very confortable bed . Hotel was well situated. Service was very good. Our room overlooked the lake. The bathroom was new and modern, and the bedroom was a good size. The staff were wonderful, the food at The Jasper was excellent, the location was mind-blowing. All in all a wonderful stay. Beautiful Hotel excellent staff, could not fault hotel in any way, would highly recommend this Hotel to others. we were very impressed with the service that we received, nothing was an issue everything was done gladly. Maybe include a light breakfast for the cost of the room. Sometimes after hiking the mountains you are tired. It might be nice to have a complimentary services that drops you into the center of Lucern rather than take the bus or cab. No big deal though it is only 10 minute walk. There was not a thing. I was checking in at midnight, i can understand it might be hard to remain working in a good mood at that time, but the night auditor was, if i may say, disappointing. Messy hair, tended to be very detached from her work. Sound proof system need to be improved: I can her my neighbor next door snoring loud... thats just...embarrassing and even a bit awful since basically i just wanted to have a good sleep. the room furniture was old deco and not tastefully done. The mattress was uncomfortable and it was not a real king bed, but two twins put together. The buffet breakfast was outrageously overpriced. But, I guess everything in Switzerland is!. The room we stayed in was a little small and outdated for the price we were paying. There was no heating inside the room at the last night Cold water!!....I had a cold shower at this hotel!. Very expensive....€77 for two very average half bottles of semi cold wine from the mini bar!. Nothing. Long walk from old town. The staff in the reception were not frindly compared to other in the concerige, room service and resturant. window for view is narrow. staff were not very freindly. an excption may be a young man working in the reciption and the bartenders at the lobby. Pool no, Spa no, cosmetologist and a chef on a daily basis.
