Friendly and helpful staff. this is really a luxurious hotel in every sense. i've got the comfortable stay i needed.Large room and very friendly staff. Just everything , it was amazing. the big room, the pool, the location. We received a very good rate on Bookings.Com at the last minute. It was good value for money. I would not recommend at regular rates.Situation, situation, situation. It is like a dream. use of swimming pool and restaurant facilities. The location and the lake view. The staff were trying hard to please and the pool was clean an a fair size.Location. not a single thing. Sauna area needs refurb'ed. Would expect breakfast included in €578 rate.No bad comments. i think they should include breakfast in the room rate...or charge a more reasonable rate. However, having said this, I must say to their credit, I sat with my husband to eat breakfast, and I didnt ask for a reduction, but they noticed I brought my own cereal, and bread ( I have celiac disease), and I only asked for coffee and then took some fruit and a little cottage cheese. I was amazed that ,without anyone saying anything, they didnt even charge me for breakfast. Hats off to them.Hotel was very posh, but room was lacking in features and style. $100 CHF less would be more reasonable for their smaller rooms. And why not just include breakfeast?. The size of the room (lake side) was too small for Double occupancy in a 5 stars hotel and for the paid rate , it may be ok for single but definately not for (2) two, the other room for my older children (city view) was ok. A poorly renovated portion of the original Ritz hotel. Our room - apparently an extended mezzanine of the original dining room - was very noisy from Saturday night revellers on the quay and from the rooms alongside and above. The walk-in wardrobe opened from the bathroom was without light. The hotel has many non-smoking rooms but no non-smoking places in the bar or restaurant. Small room for the money. No privacy of the hotel The distribution of rooms is very bad I did not find comfort at all regarding the Balcony because they shared!!.

From the train station: - Leave the train station via the main exit - Take bus number 6 or 8 direction Verkehrshaus Würzenbach - Get off the bus at the bus stop Luzernerhof - Walk straight on. - In 2 minutes you will reach the main entrance of the hotel. On foot it will take you around 12 minutes to get to the hotel from the train station.
