The receptionists are extremely nice and helpful in a constructive manner! We were young group of friends went skiing: we managed to dine and play in the common hall and the next morning getting up with a decent breakfast together. With a drive of 20 minutes we arrive at Flix-Laax. So it was overall an ideal choice to stay there for a weekend of winter sports with friends!. Fun Staff, location seems a bit dodgy but was safe, breakfast was good, internet only in the common room, but still better than lots of other BPs, microwave and boiler in common room also cool (in some places you do not have).
all reviews » The location was great. Very close to the markets, shops, nigh clubs, bars and restaurants. Also very close to the cable car. The bar staff were great too. Clean and comfortable - the shared bath was clean, the room was clean and roomy - lots bigger than our room in Paris, bed and table with 2 chairs. location not too far from Old Town, very friendly staff, very quiet although the ground floor of the hostel is a bar. the staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast and common area where have microwave, kettler, tv, internet, games, magazines.... The bathroom is nice and good (room 3). The common area is very inviting and allows travelers to interact to share experiences. pretty clean and nice staff. Friendly staff, clean room. The city. Common room a bit dark. The stairs are not very user friendly and the lady who checked me in forgot to give me any linen. The neighborhood was rough - big party during the night. Had to watch where you stepped the next morning lots of broken glass in the street. the room is too dark. the share bath room is not comfort to use since there are no space to put the dry clothes. Tricky stairs to get into the room. The bad give me terrible pain on my backs. Just as note, we don't consider this much negative: The location is between "nasty" houses but in the two days we stay there even be a quite place. A dormitory. Towels are not supplied, but rented at 5 euros each. The town is pretty enough, but the food we had was very expensive (8 euros 50 for a liter of mineral water) and not very good. It was noisy late into the night as it was located above a bar. The shower facilities are average. Someone stole from our bag of breakfast even though it was labelled. could serve better breakfast and the location is not that close to the train station. Poor breakfast, mattress is too soft. Opposite a strip club. Felt grubby, staff were rude and unhelpful. Booked a private room for a group, turned up to find we were sharing a room with 18 beds. Wouldn't return even if I was paid. Don't be fooled by the photos.
