What a gem this place is! From the minute we arrived, we felt as though we were the only people who mattered. Dany and Joaquim who manage the reception made us very welcome. Location: excellent if you're interested in relax and peaceful atmosphere, close to unique Papagayo beaches (15 min. walk) and ordinary Coloradamar beach for those lazy ones (2-3 min. walk) :). Two supermarkets are nearby (Roper: 2-3 min.walk, HyperDino:5-7 min.walk). Bus stop is right in front of reception. If you travel with children, the playground is 2 min.walk. We liked the location and quietness of the area, it was really easy to find on our arrival in playa blanca, and the fact that we could use the facilities of the hotel volcan especially the childrens pool which was much warmer than the villa pool. I liked very much the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, in particular the male manager (can't remember his name) and Nicola who helped me when I need to find medical help at short notice.
The service and selection at breakfast was outstanding and again, the staff who served breakfast were extremely helpful and friendly. -

at Alondra to celebrate a 50th birthday with family and friends and we
received a complementary upgrade to the Grand Suite, which is out of
this world. Wine and snacks were left complementary upon our arrival and
on the day of the birthday the manager sent a bottle of red wine. The
