We liked the location and quietness of the area, it was really easy to find on our arrival in playa blanca, and the fact that we could use the facilities of the hotel volcan especially the childrens pool which was much warmer than the villa pool. The villas were very well presented and perfect for our family. We would definately choose to stay here again if we visited playa blanca in the future but would perhaps try August (we stayed in may) with the hope that the pool had warmed up over the su.
all reviews » Location near the ocean, very friendly and very helpful reception, really nice villa, quality new interiours, good furniture, pritty private swimming pool with sunbeds, calm and relax, 5 minutes walking to a small village with many restaurants and shops, 1 minute walking to a seaside promenade. Barbecue zone. Free (!) and fast wi-fi. Very beautiful papagaya beaches are 10 minutes drive. Possibly there are some other beaches close, but we do not know as we traveled by car. In general high value . The villas are extremely well appointed and comfortable. The position is perfect with only a 3 minute walk to the Marina where there is a good choice of restaurants. Everything you might need is provided in the villa. The whole complex is very well maintained and beautifully clean. The private pool is lovely if a bit chilly!!. Villa great, spotlessly clean and I would be very particular!!!spacious, home from home with all amenities, could walk to local marina and 20-30 mins to playa blanca. Having your own pool was fantastic with veranda to sit and relax although pool cold but once in you soon warmed up!!!. The Staff were excellent. We were silly enough to lock our Car Keys & Drivng licences into Villa upon Check out, and had dropped our keys into letterbox for reception & a very helpful aid came to our our assistance from afar in the early hours of the morning. Excellent welcome and all round service. The villas were spotless and very nicely furnished and laid out. Housekeepers and grounds staff were also discreet and excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough. I almost want to keep it all to myself as my own little secret. Excellent location and the villas have everything required for a relaxing holiday. Set in a quiet location but only a short walk to the Rubicon marina great bars and restaurants and entertainment. Will certainly return here sometime in the future. Villas well appointed each with own swimming pool. Spacious too. We were upgraded to a 3 bed villa from a 2 bed. Lots of nice restaurants at marina nearby and well located for cliff side walk.Guests can use facilities of Hotel Volcan opposite. I found the villas very nice, peaceful and very private, not looking over each other Conny was very nice also Roberto nothing was to much trouble for them would not hesitate to spend my next holiday there. Very comfortable well designed villa .Equipment,furnishings and cleanliness at a very high level. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend it, more so in the summer months when private pool is warmer. Lovely villa with everything we needed in a great location for us. The staff were very helpful if we asked for anything. Great that we were able to use the facilities in the hotel opposite. "You got what it said on the tin" The villas were lovely in all aspects. The decor was up to date and they were spotless. Also the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back again!!. We have been to Ocean Dreams before and would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing , top quality , holiday. We enjoyed every minute and will definately be going again in 2014. Situated on the coast so great views, ease of access to marina, relaxing surroundings, use of amenities at near by 5* hotel. Being able to look at the pool. the 3 bed house was spacious ,decor to a high standard .quite location ,great veiw.being able to use the hotel volcan pools and kids club was very handy. Everything! Location -a short walk to many quality bars/restaurants but a quiet location 50 yards from the sea. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice spacious villa with great seaviews. This complex of villa is located near ocean line (but only in firsts villas in row have ocean view). Location is very good, near *****Hotel Volcan and Marina Rubikon. Nice walk to center Playa Blanca, where you can eat dinner (1km) TIP: Breakfast is cheaper in hotel. Space in the villa Facilities Location Private Pool. We were extremely disappointed that the pool were so cold and this meant that our 4 year old was unable to use the pool and practice his swimming. We understand from staff that you are unable to heat pools, however covers would at least allow the water to retain some of the heat obtained from the sun during the day. In addition we stayed in villa number 7 and were disappointed that the wifi did not extend to the villa. All is perfect. Nothing!!. Nothing!!!. Unfortunately have to agree on pool temperature but it really isn't too bad once you're in. Couldn't pick a fault if I tried. Pool water really too cold for swimming. There was no means of sheltering from the predominant north wind blowing across pool and patio and a lack of privacy from communal pathway. Pool was cold but this was not a problem still used it. Pool was very cold but I suppose it was end of March. The pool was very cold. The Ocean Dreams were beautiful. There was nothing that we did not like about them. The only slight critisism is the the wi-fi could do with upgrading as the signal was inconsistent during our stay. Only one minor thing but the pool was very cold. Nothing. Only being able to look at the pool as it was freezing. Come on ocean dreams a pool is for swimming not for skating. Read all the other reviews. the pool was freezing ,. Tv had no British news channels other than bbc World which is not the best!. there wasnt anything. The cats! There were a number of cats being given food by someone from their car by the side of the villa... this attracted many cats to the villa. we were given opportunity to email shopping list which we did but provisions were not in the villa when we arrived. Very slow broadband speed. Poor english tv channel choice, especially kids channels. TV was difficult to operate. No pools were heated (villa or hotel), food options limited and nothing recommended by Ocean Dreams staff (would recommend breakfast and most dinners diy at the villa from the local Dino supermarket 5 mins away, with basic lunches out E.G.pizza, burger, salad etc). For family dinner; try traditional Spanish grub at Taberna Godino and also the home made Burgers at the English place a couple of doors up in the Centro Comercial Papagayo, which were both excellent and well priced. nothing. Beds were quite hard. I cant think of anything. coming home. a cockroach on the patio!. the pool was freezing in feb. not heated. Poor Wi-Fi coverage outside a reception area. Wi fi little slow .......maybe this is a good thing !. Workings of sun umbrella did not function due to to metal sections needing an oiling. As we were not driving the journey to the nearest large supermarket was a bit long walking. nothing. a little more privacy on entrance - room 14 a few more large bushes along path.. Pool was cold. Not enough sunbeds for whole party. Our villa was first in second row, near entrance gate, This villa is not very private. People who enter to complex can see what we do in front our villa and pool. Every one say "Hello, Good Morning, Hola". Yes, nice people, but we want more privacy!!! Owners should build higher wall (or plant higher trees) and villa should have gate. Poor Air Conditioning Lack of privacy.

Towels for the swimming pool and the villa are changed twice a week. For a supplement they can be changed more often. Cleaning takes place once a week. Each house at Ocean Dreams Marina & Spa Villages has its own pool and terrace. The pristine houses glimmer against Lanzarote’s black, volcanic landscape.
