  Eurostars Grand staff are very friendly and professional. The rooms were fantastic. The best thing was the walk in shower. The food was excellent and the waiters were the best in any hotel we stayed at. They seemed to sense when someone required service. We never had to wait long for anything. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. - Lo... what people say » ved this hotel. Beautiful. Staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Actually acted like they were happy to have us staying at their hotel in their beautiful city. Arrived early morning and got right into our room. Not the usual "wait until 3:00 p.m." like other European hotels we've stayed in.

  Location excellent, plenty to do during the day, quiet at night in immediate vicinity of hotel- easy to get a good night's sleep. The rooms were very modern and well fitted out having plenty of space and the bathrooms were great. Staff were very polite and helpful. I did not use the bar or restaurant facilities so cannot comment on these but they looked good.

  The vibe of the foyer area was like a cool nightclub in the evenings with dark mood lighting - very trendy. To say there was clubbing music streamed in the foyer which you could hear on all levels of walk-way, the bedrooms were sound-proofed really well. The upstairs bar has amazing views. Room service was really quick and excellent staff attention. - Magnificent rooms with probably the best sea views you can get in Barcelona. Extremely spacious and well furnished with very comfortable beds and top of the line furnishings, which make for a luxurious experience.Very responsive and pro-active staff that seeks to make your stay comfortable. I would come back here for a vacation any day.

  The Catalonia Avinyo's staff called us a day ahead, informing that Catalonia Avinyo was fully booked so we were changed to another hotel in the same network called "Catalonia Port" and I really recommend this hotel!! Very new, very clean, very comfortable!! and it's near the port and Columbus Monument. That's mean you can start walking from the beg... what people say » inning of La Rambla!! and it's near the metro.. - What a gem! Catalonia Avinyo is a great place to stay while in Barcelona. The modern decor make it very comfortable and chic. Also, it has an excellent location. Very near everything. If you are a first time tourist or a frequent visitor you will be satisfied with this hotel. An added bonus is the restaurante across from the hotel El Gran, it is wonderful!

Room was luxurious and clean- a real haven to relax in after a busy day sightseeing. Room service was impressively quick. Restaurant fitted with quality of hotel and delicious food.   The location was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and spacious. - Even though I was warned of possible rennovation disturbance I heard/saw nothing! But then again you don't really expect to when you're only using the hotel as a place to rest your head after spending all day exploring the city. We arrived early (8:30 am), Vinnie and Kristina at the front desk stored our luggage in a secure locked area, leaving us free to explore the sights until check-in. Upon check-in, we were greeted with glasses of sparkling cava. Vinnie and Kristina represent the hotel most excellently.   The hote is just wonderfull- the stuff is very kind and helpfull, room was very comfortable, although the bed was very big. - I normally don't stay at 3 stars hotel. However I had to because only 3 stars offered wifi in the rooms. That was a nice upgrade.

For example - gave us quite room,as we asked in reservation, helpt with ohter little problems we had.Clean and nice room, absolutely perfect location right in front of metrostation and few block from the old center and lovely port area, lots ofgood eating places around, Muntjuice mountain few blocks on anothers... what people say » ide. Very good stay! Thank you!!! - The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were upgraded on arrival to a junior suite. The location was perfect. 10 mins from La Rambla and Port Vell.   The size of the single beds were brilliant. My friend and I shared a room for econemy reasons, so to find 3/4 beds made our stay more comfortable - convenient, modern, clean and had huge rooms. Very friendly staff

  It was right in the middle of the city and herself was delighted as it was on one of the main streets with all the famous Spanish retailers.
