The size of the single beds were brilliant. My friend and I shared a room for econemy reasons, so to find 3/4 beds made our stay more comfortable. convenient, modern, clean and had huge rooms. Very friendly staff. Very nice, clean and modern. Very good location. Hotel position and interrior. Helpful staff, excellent location with some touches of luxury above the norm for 3 star hotel.

The location was excellent, right off the Ramblas in the gothic quarter.Not too far from the beach and near all the good nightlife. Thereception staff were the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff wehave ever met, particularly Bernardo, Angel and Frank. The maids made anexceptional job of cleaning our room daily. Location, beattiful modern room and furniture, big comfort bed, many inexpensive resorants around, for breakfeast and dinner. Free internet in the room. Used the outdoor swimming pool - it was great to have this outdoorspace. The hotel location was excellent for getting around, and it waspeaceful, too. The value for money was excellent in the first 2 days (Euro 79) but the third and the fourth days were unnecessarily high (Euro 123). A new fresh hotel with latest design. When we arrived, the hotel was nowhere near full, and there were no 'works' at all. Very strange.Booked non-smoking, got put into smoking room - real strong smell. Couldn't get changed - which was dissapointing but not a deal breaker. price of brekfast. The swimming pool was broken for almost a week and they didn't let us know anything, if we had knew it we had booked an other hotel because we booked this hotel because of the location and the swimming pool.The staff was not helpfull at all. The only friendly person at the hotel was the cleaning lady.The water of our bad was dripping into the room below us. The hotel was not good. Not very serviceminded staff. Told us we had to have breakfast (expensive and noisy) but then we found out others had book without. Wouldnt recommend a stay here.
