  We had a thoroughly pleasant stay at this hotel for 5 nights in February 09. We stayed with our 2 children in a 'B2' Apartment - we found the rooms (sitting room with sofa bed and kitchenette / separate bedroom / large bathroom) to be extremely comfortable and practical with nice decor. It was easy to get around the hotel with a buggy and it had great access and was very easy to find at the end of the esplanade with a great walk along the water front into the main town centre.

  Great location, the hotel was in the center, 15-20 min walk to Rambala in a good eria. Room facilities are great (clean and big room).   All the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, especially Thais and Carmem at the reception and Jose, Jamie, Fernando, Luis, Abdul in the restaurant. The chef provided a superb range of food for breakfast and dinner as well as show cooking the day specials. Every night there was live entertainment in the bar. The room was very comfortable with flat tv, kettle and coffee express, cups and spoons. The tv pilot is to be borrowed from reception for 5 euro which is returned at checking out.   It was a beautiful room with a gorgeous view to the sea. The breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was delicious. There are two large swimming pools: one with fresh water and one with sea (salty water) and a large indoor pool with wonderful water and a jacuzzi. There is a city close by for exploring (by car) and there is a beach there to for the ... what people say » locals and other tourists. Also many restaurants. We ate at the hotel on half board and it was delicious too. There is a gorgeous view from the hotel. - The place have a great seaside if you take a sea-view rooms. The facilities are a little bit old, but it all compensated by very friendly and helpfully staff.

  Located on the beach, the terramarina was clean and well run. The guests are mostly Russian but it made no difference to us as we know the area well. The restaurant and bar staff were excellent and the reception staff efficient. Our rooms were cleaned every day all in all a great location and a well run hotel.   We stayed at the hotel on the last weekend of our honeymoon, I had mentioned it was our honeymoon on the reservation but not upon arrival. They had a Cava (bottle of Catalonia's sparkling wine) with chocolate covered strawberries in our room waiting for us. The staff are very friendly and willing to help, wherever required. The rooms are well appointed, extremely comfortable and clean. There's a great roof top bar area with a small plunge pool to cool off. Lastly, the location is fabulous. Only a few minutes walk to La Ramblas. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
