The hotel was beautiful, but some small things i.e. no face cloths in the bathrooms and not enough toiletries, small details. Inadequate light as you entered the room, hard to see into the safe deposit b0x. All small practical details, but would recommend they be put right. Everything is lovely at this hotel as long as you have good weather.
The food was better than ever and our room was quite large as a side sea view room, certainly enough for two people.

Most of the staff did not speak any English , though all were veryfriendly and did whatever they can to help , this hotel is a piece oftreasured history built in 1561 , you get first hand experience ofliving during the aristocratic times - the hotel has a very special atmosphere. The cave hotel rooms are very nicely appointed and the pool was lovely. The family that run the hotel were very helpful and enthusiastic about sharing the history and geography of the surrounding area and life in a cave house. Both the kids and adults in the family were fascinated and the area around was very attractive with the snow capped Sierra Nevadas in the distance.
