We stayed in apartment number 2 which was a 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor (broadly representative of all the apartments - more on this later). There’s a kitchenette (room for one person) and bathroom, and an L shaped - It is ideally located for the beach. The apartment was very clean and the furniture comfortable with everything you would need for a self catering stay. The staff are especially helpful and friendly.

  Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. We were staying B/B so cannot comment on the evening meal but the breakfast was excellent, with choice galore & as much (or little) as you wish from fresh fruit, cooked and continental br... what people say » eakfasts, omelettes etc. The hotel staff & their service is great throughout from the front desk, bar-staff to the nice ladies who clean the rooms - The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. They made me feel so welcome and as I was on my own nothing was too much trouble. Then even walked me to the bus stop to say goodbye when I left. Lovely stay and great location.

  The Uyal was away from the main resort bustle but an easy, flat stroll to the centre of things when we wanted the shops and restaurants etc. Local bus stops to Alcudia and Pollense Old Town were 100 meters from Uyal and cost 3Euros single, for 2 people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast every morning. There was a variety of food to please everyone's taste. The room had free internet which was great. We never had problems finding a place to park that was close to the hotel. We also liked that it was a nice walk to the town center and there were all kinds of restaurants in the vicinity.

  Very helpful staff especially Juan the night porter who booked us in.There was a problem with our booking but we were upgraded straight away to a suite which was spacious and luxurious.   Excellently refurbished apartments just a row back from the beach. We asked for a sunny low floor apartment with a nice view and this is what we got. In the party there were a 60 year old, a 30 year old couple and a 2 year old and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cleanliness and facilities in apartment were excellent as were the helpful staf... what people say » f at the Hostal Bahia where you check in. Incidentally the Bahia is also a fantastic hotel situated right on the beach. We have stayed there before - The apartments are just complete refurbished! We were the first to sleep in the apartment. Very good bed,tidy and super shower! Price was fair and reasonable. Just 5 minutes walk from port the pollenca boulevard
