  The Catalonia Avinyo's staff called us a day ahead, informing that Catalonia Avinyo was fully booked so we were changed to another hotel in the same network called "Catalonia Port" and I really recommend this hotel!! Very new, very clean, very comfortable!! and it's near the port and Columbus Monument. The modern decor make it very comfortable and chic. Also, it has an excellent location. Very near everything. If you are a first time tourist or a frequent visitor you will be satisfied with this hotel. An added bonus is the restaurante across from the hotel El Gran, it is wonderful!

  The hotel was very centrally located within a few minutes walking distance of busy las ramblas & close to many restaurants & a supermarket. The apartment room was large & spacious to accommodate my family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The bathroom was very spacious as well & the kitchenette was well equipped. Hotel reception staff were exceptional eg Aritz, Manuel & Zavi - Lovely location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, but in a small side street so it is nice and quiet. The rooms are lovely with the exposed wall and slate tiled bathrooms. Staff were really helpful and recommended places to eat and go see, and generally very friendly and attentive. Fantastic location near all the bars and restaurants, and about 5-7 min walk to the food market, and tube (metro) station. We didn't use the swimming pool as we went in March (still too cold) but it did look tiny.

  Hotel Bagues was everything we were hoping for. It was a stylish very chic looking hotel with an outstanding staff. The location was awesome right in the middle of Las Ramblas and steps to the Bari Gotic. I would highly recommend this location as the prices were very good as well. They upgraded our room and gave us a corner room with views on 2 sides of the hotel. The delay did give us a chance to - The staff are top-notch. Very few luxury hotels are able to balance friendliness with efficiency like Hotel Bagues. It's a rare gift to offer the experience they do for guests. The ambiance of the hotel is fantastic, too, and despite being on the La Rambla - with a room overlooking it - at night we could only hear the faintest of sounds. Luxuriously decorated, but cosy, the entire hotel is a really lovely experience.

  It was right in the middle of the city and herself was delighted as it was on one of the main streets with all the famous Spanish retailers. The Airbus station is just few minutes away and since we traveled by air we enjoyed the cheap and efficient bus transportation. The proximity to the city was a feature of hotel and the swimming pool was a - The location of the hotel was perfect , it is few minutes walk from the city center and the bus tour. The staff are friendly and helpful all the time and were kind to my 5 months old son. The inside of the hotel is clean with modern design, the room although slightly small but are comfortable and clean and the hotel provide a cot to by son freely. I was expecting a moderate size swimming pool unfortunately it was small, but again it is clean with modern design romantic atmosphere.
