The hotel staff is very kind; they help you with every problem or question you have. The staff spoke perfect english and they were super accomodating. they lent us an umbrella to go out, kept our luggage in storage because we showed up early and even got us a room earlier than we were supposed too. room service food was very good.   Great location around the corner from metro. Our room was not reay at 14.00, so they upgraded us to a fantastic suite. Friendly and helpful staff, really good breakfast.   The hotel was very comtempary! Loved it! Location was a little far away from anywhere but excellent metro service. Staff were brilliant with us, when we arrived there was a problem with one of the floors "technical problems" but they sent us to the Hilton Hotel instead - no extra cost! The last night was at the Silken Hotel and they gave us a up... what people say » graded room for the problems. Can't fault them! - Location to the Metro was nice and easy to find with a landmark (egg building) right next it. Room was very spacious, room for luggage too! The front desk folks were extremely nice and spoke many languages. All in all, we would definitely stay there again.

  As we stayed for 3 nights we got upgraded to Junior Suite. They also had a breakfast offer of just 10euro each for contintental/cooked breakfast. Very good value. LIDL was but a 10 minute walk away, and the beach about 20 mins - The hotel was excellent. It was very modern and tastefully decorated. I would definately stay here again

  Very quiet room. Great value for money. Good design. A small suite with separate bedroom for 100$ per day! Easy access to metro line 4 (Bogatell) or Line 1 (Marina). Not far from the beaches. Mar Bella is only two stops (Poblenou) and a 10 minute walk. Direct by metro to old Barcelona in only a few stops (Jaume I).   A modern hotel in a fairly quiet residential area on the outskirts of the city. 10 - 15 minute walk from the beach - we didn't see one tacky tourist shop in the area - but an exellent shopping mall with supermarket and restaurants only a 3 minute walk away. Staff were knowledgable and friendly. Bar area and evening meals of excellent quality (we didn't eat - The reception waited for us till 3 am because our flight was delayed and we were given a warm friendly welcome even at that early hour. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had really good curtains that blocked out light completely for us to sleep late into the next morning. The bed was comfortable and the decor was neutral, which we liked. Hot water, air conditioning and the television were perfect and we could even open the windows to get fresh air when needed.   The hotel had a lovely welcoming atmosphere. It was in an excellent location to the marina and also very easy to travel into city centre. The staff were very professional. We had our dinner in the hotel a couple of nights from room service and it was lovely and very reasonably priced.
