  Ideal location v.close to metro, helpful staff. Close to bars and Cafes. 20 min on the metro from Barcelona bus station. Very clean room. We had a rear facing room that looked over some rear gardens but not an issue. I would certainly stay here again. - The hotel has very good location, close to the metro station and to Rambla.   We arrived at 11.30am after starting from home at 3.30am. We were delighted to be told a room was available and that our request for a room in the quiter part of the hotel had been honoured. The hotel restaurant has an excellent menu offering a varied choice of well prepared dishes at a reasonable price. We would recommend this hotel to our friends... what people say » . - Free internet access, free breakfast, free water and apples...you can't go wrong! Plus the rooms are really modern, the staff is really nice, the price was right and the hotel is within walking distance (.5 miles) to some of Barcelona's main sites.

  One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in on a city break in another country. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful for our entire stay. Our family room consisted of two double rooms with interconnecting doors and most impressive bathrooms and both very clean. The minibar was stocked with bottles of complimentary water.   I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.   Nice place with all that we need during our Travel!! Realy clean, with air conditioning, situated near Placa de Catalonya, which is the centre of the city. Only few rooms are there, so there is no problem with bathroom. Friendly and helpfull host, with a good advices and words for everyone.   I loved the presentation of the flats upon entering, the way the beds were made up, the fact that there was dishwashing liquid, tablets for the dishwasher, toilet paper, rubbish bags etc just to start. The space within the apartment 2. Being located in residential Barcelona was good so could sample how the locals lived 3. Having 2 showers was really useful 4. Having a balcony was good so we could dry our towels! 5. The utilities were good - kettle, fridge, etc - even towels and basic toiletries were included which was unexpected. 6. The complimentary bottle of Cava was a bonus!

For example - gave us quite room,as we asked in reservation, helpt with ohter little problems we had.Clean and nice room, absolutely perfect location right in front of metrostation and few block from the old center and lovely port area, lots ofgood eating places around, Muntjuice mountain few blocks on anothers... what people say » ide. Very good stay! Thank you!!! - The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were upgraded on arrival to a junior suite. The location was perfect. 10 mins from La Rambla and Port Vell.
