Ideal location v.close to metro, helpful staff. Close to bars and Cafes. 20 min on the metro from Barcelona bus station. Very clean room. We had a rear facing room that looked over some rear gardens but not an issue. I would certainly stay here again. The hotel has very good location, close to the metro station and to Rambla. The room is spacious (though I know that some rooms are quite small), breakfast is delicious, staff is very friendly.

The location is rather good as it's close to a main square (Espana) and next to a metro station. The room was more than i expected for a three star hotel.There is no handle for the window...but it is normally found in the draw beside the bed if not ask and receptionwill provide one. Air conditioning is not mega blows very slow but enough to keep the room cool. Breakfast could be included. Rather noisy street, but it was expected and we were ready for that. It didnt have tea./coffee making facilities in the room but we boughtour own water and soft drinks from the supermarket.We had a slight problem with window in our room that we couldn't close. We noticed the problem late in the evening and it was fixed the next day. The double bed was actually 2 twin beds pushed together.From the room we had view of the inner walls and a balcony of another building. There was only one PC for internet connection, which was not free. The price for internet connection was high indeed, so i had to find myself an internet cafe.The walls were a bit thin and we could hear the shower runing in theroom next door, but overall it was very good. Rooms located to the street side will only give an interrupted sleep due high level of noise! (Police car sirenes on Saturday night will only give you sleep from 5 o'clock in the morning !!!) Recommand hotel only for off side street rooms!. The room was too hot. The window handle was not in the room. there is nothing wrong with this hotel. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. n/a. The smell on the corridor was quite bad. No fresh air on the corridor. Parking lot is difficult to find.my room faced the street which was very noisy. TV not working and sink not flashing quick enaugh. room was very very very hot. when we told that to the hotel personnel thay told us that it is a common situation for the rooms upstairs and they can do nothing about that. staff attitude, impolite and refuse to give assistance. I stay three nights in the hotel. When I make a request to the staff at the front desk, he not only never response but also turn to answer other customers' enquiries. I stay in front of the front desk for more than five minutes. Finally I quit. I feel that the staff must have more training in serving the Chinese customers.Carpets in rooms not the best idea,they get dirtier with time and are difficult to clean.The fridge/mini bar was not working for 2 of the 3 days of our stay.Despite us telling the staff at arrival (and reminding them the day after),they failed to fix it until day 3 and we had to dispose some food we had in the fridge.Some staff were arrogant and unwilling to deal with requests. - the room smelled of cigarettes although it was a non-smoking floor; - the room was small; - the room was noisy because the hotel is right on a very busy street. room maidens quite annoying in the mornings, trying to get into the room each morning at 9, not a heaven for late sleepers like myself. Also some outside construction noises in the morning. Room cleaning not best in class, mostly depends on the shift or the room maiden's mood? :). one of the rooms 709 was infested with bed bugs and fleas.
