I loved the presentation of the flats upon entering, the way the beds were made up, the fact that there was dishwashing liquid, tablets for the dishwasher, toilet paper, rubbish bags etc just to start. Lovely touches were the free bottle of wine and water, it's the little things.... Reception was always friendly and efficient and helpful. Reception and the flats are close together and in close proximity to the airport bus stop. The metro and a market and a grocery store are very close too.
all reviews » 1. The space within the apartment 2. Being located in residential Barcelona was good so could sample how the locals lived 3. Having 2 showers was really useful 4. Having a balcony was good so we could dry our towels! 5. The utilities were good - kettle, fridge, etc - even towels and basic toiletries were included which was unexpected. 6. The complimentary bottle of Cava was a bonus!. Staff is excellent and very helpful. Apartment has everything u need for a comfortable stay. Location is superb with all major attractions in walking distance. Great for family stay too. Good restaurants nearby. Will def stay again if we visit barcelona and strongly recommend to family and friends. the location is excellent(we stay in 2 bed. 2 bath. apartment 10 min. walking distance to Catalunya).There was enough clean towels and the kitchen was well prepared for cooking.The staff in the office was very helpful and friendly!. Great location, easy check in. Good sized apartment, well furnished and equipped. The office staff were very nice about storing our large quantity of luggage the day we checked out. The unit is small but with excellent facilities. It is just like a home away from home. It is within walking distance to La Rambla, one of Barcelona's tourist spots. The location was excellent. Two bathrooms was a good idea with 5 people.It had all our basic requirements. Close to metro and shuttle bus to airport T1 or T2. We liked the apartment facilities (including a small private terrace), the perfect location and the excellent office staff support. It's a pity wifi was out of action for a while but reception was once again very friendly and helpful, told me they were working on it and indeed, fixed the problem. I know there's nothing to be done about this but this place would be 100% if there was some kind of view as well. 1. The mugs - they didn't have handles so it was diffcult to drink a cuppa!. there was a bad smell comming from the corridor;the apartment was clean,but the walls was so dirty ....they need some painting.For 4 people there was only 1 sofa in the living room. The heating was not very effective, making the apartment uncomfortably cold at night. The shower in the main bathroom leaked. The lounge and the dining chair had tears, which we had to report to the main office as we didn't want to be blamed for it but the office staff seemed to think we were making a complaint. As we were 4 females, the apartment bedrooms needed a mirror in each for getting ready!!. Unit not recommended for family with young children who might need space for running around. Otherwise everything else is great. We didn't like the faint but persistent smell of sewage, so we bought some incense. The sinks/showers were slow to drain. One of the 2 air-conditioning units didn't work. No balcony, as described,. Wifi didn't work. Noise within the building, the neighbours dog, late night revellers. Also the drain smell from one of the bathrooms was horrible. They charge money if you want to leave your luggage at the reception after checkout. no windows in secondary bedrooms..no aircontitioning. 1, Our appartment was not ready when we arrive. 2. The microwave not working. 3. Shower hot water not working on the last day,. We stayed for week and internet Wifi worked only for first 3 days and it looked that there no interest from the staff to fix it... The double bed and the pillows were very uncomfortable. Behind the wall reconstruction work was going and terrible noise started at 8AM and continue whole day...impossible open the windows as reconstruction dust immediately covered everything. We didn’t like that we opened the door of the apartament and we found luggages and belongings of others. The cleaning company mistook, they said. After waiting half an hour, finally, they gave us another apartment and after the first (5 minute) shower, not hot water for 5 hours was there. They had not be able to explain us the reason or to give us an alternative solution, so the next day - luckily the last - we had a thirty second shower for each. Oven/hub didn't work at all Bathroom door lock stuck - could not open form the outside, not good with small children Wi-fi intermittant (at best) Kettle kept blowing fuses Poor ventilation in bathroom This meant it wasn't terribly good value. no shampoing.
