The staff was exceptional and the place is absolutely stunning. Apart from the bathroom the rooms are cosy and comfortable (and well equipped). The atmosphere is relaxed which we enjoyed very much. Also the public bathroom had individual little towels rolled up an thus you get a clean towel every time. -

four years we have stayed at several B&Bs, Hotels/Guest Houses
in South Africa and the De Hoek rates as one of our best and most
enjoyable places. The room was clean and comfortable, well furnished and
with a superb bathroom. It had good air conditioning, tv and WiFi.

The personal touches were very nice (e.g., turn-down service that included port). Check-in was incredibly efficient -- we were in our room within about 45 seconds. The location in downtown Stellenbosch is fantastic -- across the street from a beautiful church and just one block from dozens of cafes and restaurants. And, of course, it's convenient to tons of wineries. Breakfast was served promptly, was delicious, and included everything one could want. This is a great guest house.

The owners and staff of this Guest House made us very welcome. The room was furnished to a high standard and all the facilities were immaculately maintained. Situated on a calm road, the house has a nice garden and a pool. The rooms are arranged with very much love to details – we absolutely loved it. The breakfast was very nice and with different choices of bred, cereals, served in a wonderful room with view to the nice garden. The host is very friendly and obliging. This is how a B&B in our dream looks like!
