  Everything was positive, especially the friendly and helpful staff. Everything I needed was provided and it was easy to get help and service.   Beautiful set up, big room, good wifi. Hosts extremely friendly - making a big difference to the experience. Nice idea of bringing all guests together during dinner (if one chooses this option) - opportunity to meet new people. Very good dinner. - Old world charm and friendly proprietor.

  I journeyed almost five months through SA. This was the best value for money accommodation I stayed at during the entire trip (note: I stayed at cheaper and much more expensive places during this trip). I liked the architecture, the nice spacious rooms (the rooms feel like small apartments rather than rooms), the friendliness and professionalism o... what people say » f the staff, the excellent breakfast and pasta dinners, the well-functioning TV and internet (not always a given in SA), and the closeness to Wits Uni - Everything has been said before, no need to repeat it all again. It was a pleasure to stay, with everybody doing their all to make our stay as enjoyable and as seamless as possible, especially the managers Danny and Dimitri. A few things to note, breakfast IS included in the price, not immediately obvious on the website. Also, WIFI was being extended to all rooms as I left, it just gets better and better:-) Please ask for Danny's express check-out service when leaving. Highly Recommended..!!

  I loved the roominess and airiness of the apartment/room I had. It was clean, well furnished and whatever didnt work well was replaced quickly. The room was a bit cold especially the tiled floors but the bed did have an electric blanket and another portable heater. More stuff (scourer/sponge)needs to be put in the kitchen to making washing up easi... what people say » er. The owner and his staff are very warm and friendly and were lovely to my small kids. The location was superb for me and very near Sandton city and - This apartment hotel is highly recommended. Homely, friendly atmosphere, access to the garden and self-contained, comfortable units. I was a solo traveller, and had a two-bedroom unit which could sleep four persons. It is ideal for independence and self-catering as required. A taxi service is available all the time. The staff are very accommodating especially at reception.

  I honestly loved most of the things about this hotel, the staff were very very nice, my room was spacious and always clean. They gave free soda, juice, sparkling and clear water. Whenever i had a problem, they would ALWAYS help. And the best part about the hotel was that the pictures on the site were exactly what was on the ground. They allowed us an early check in and even offered us breakfast. They gave tea to our guests and allowed us to store our luggage on our last day when we were being picked up later in the day. They were excellent. The location is very good being both central and close to the Gautrain and also a big shopping centre with lots of restaurants.

  The room we had was a bit hot, so they moved us into the next available room the next day, without us even asking for a change. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. It was very quite given that we were in Johannesburg. Worth way more than what we paid!! - Now here's a home away from home. I will absolutely recommend it.
