  Mike gave us a warm welcome on arrival, and he volunteered to drive us into town one morning. The view from the room is spectacular, facing east into the rising morning sun over the bay. The breakfasts were more than we could eat. Very peaceful. - High quality rooms and service, excellent breakfasts, quiet surrounds with stunning views and privac... what people say » y.   Chalet Romantica was one of - if not the best B&B we stayed in during our trip to NZ. Inge was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel quite comfortable on our first night in NZ. The location offers a gorgeous view of the Bay of Islands and is walkable to good dining options. We stayed in the apartment & there was everything you needed to cater for yourselves. We would certainly stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to visit nz again.
