What people say

The place was spotless and very well thought out with all the "how to's". e.g. how to get the best tap temp in the kitchen/shower, amenities. I especially liked the recycling bins for plastic glass etc. The location is exceptional too. We took the bikes and rode along the waterfront. It's only a short walk/ride from the bars near the viaduct. Also it was very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. There were a few things that may have bugged us but overall the good outweighed the niggly bits.
all reviews » I liked the guy at the desk nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him We felt very welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay wished we could have stayed another night but the complex was fully booked out altho he did try to help us. I found the owners fantastic. They where only to pleased to swap our unit from two studios to one large room. I found the room compact but very serviceable it meet all our needs and I wouldn't hesitate to re book there. I went with my year 13 student daughter for a break before her exams and a break from my work.you need to include that option in the list 1.we both liked the relaxed atmosphere. Particularly the cleanliness, also the fact that I put in our breakfast order a little late but was received without any problems. Staff very friendly. Handy to walkways and cycle tracks. Owners friendly and helpful, no hestitation at later checkout. Handy to port, and restaurants. We were only there for one night and did not spend a lot of time at the motel. Was a lovely clean studio and good value. Very comfortable and welcoming. Friendly hosts and good size rooms. Good location. Has been nicely refurbished. We specifically chose the room because of the oven expecting it to be the average size, however it was a mini oven that didn't fit the dishes I had pre-prepared. It would be great if the size of the oven was specified and then I would have brought a couple of smaller meals instead of the large dish. Also, the bathroom is a wetroom. The water runs under the shower curtain along the groves in the tiles no matter what way the curtain is positioned and the tiled floor gets very slippery. Getting in and out was a tight squeeze there is not a lot if space for vehicles. Nothing. The Continental breakfast was fine but a little expensive although $12.00 may be the going rate these days. The shower curtain, that needs upgrading to a door. N/A. There was nothing that we didnt like. Road noise. No iron in room. For tradesmen not professionals. Cold room with ineffective heating. Mattress seen better days.
