Comparing the three hotels I've been in my recent european trip, with the same rates as them, Hotel Omega lived up to my expectations in terms of facilities, cleanliness, service, and I could say that I got my money's worth for the stay there. - The girl on arrival was very nice, and helpful. And the tram system in to town was really easy to follow

Very easy to use hotel.
Self serve check in when you get there (a bank of about five computers), so you aren't waiting for a person to take care of you. Someone is nearby for the technically challenged.
The rooms are what I would call "pods". Small rooms with everything compact and easy to reach. The photos online tell the story.

This is one of top three hotels I have ever stayed in (and there were some!), but I cannot remember the other two :). Giving this hotel a 10 would mean that the other few I rated as 10 should now be re-rated to 8. :)
Everything was great. The technical stuff in the room, funny saying everywhere, some might find "self-check-in" a bother, but I liked a new experience and there was always extremely polite and friendly staff around to help.
All in all - 7min walk from Amsterdam Zuid train station.

I do not have anything bad to say about this apartment . It is very nicely decorated and comfortable. it was very cold when we arrived and our host had the heating switched on,nice touch. It is in a great location, within walking distance of the main sights and there are lovely shops and cafes around the corner. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is easily reachable by public transport.
I spent two nights in the hotel and enjoyed comfortable and clean rooms, rich breakfasts and friendly staff who was always there ready to help.
When I arrived to the hotel tired after a long travel the manager offered me complimentary tea/coffee and gave very useful tips about what to see and where to go. Thanks to the hotel manager's advice during my short stay I managed to visit almost all the top attractions in Amsterdam.
