all reviews Everything. Everything. all. The quality of the hotel. It felt like it was more that a 3 star hotel. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to all shops and the red light district. We would definately stay there again.Clean and comfortable, security (elevators works only if you have your key card with you, luggage room), very good location (not noisy, just 2-3 minutes walk to the tram station). Very comfortable beds, and friendly personable staff.Great stay, although more a 3/4* than a 5*. close to all the aminities. Location, Location, Location - close enough to walk to all the main attractions and the hotel staff were extremely helpful.Great hotel in a great location, not on a tram line. Nice room for the price with comfortable bed.Quiet, however really well-situated vaste breakfast area, pillow selection. I like NH hotels, beutiful hotel wiht comfortable rooms and good staff.Great location, good ambience, wonderful hospitality from the staff. Room was clean and centrally located. The hotel was in a great location. The pillows in the room were very comfortable and the finishing touchs in the bathroom with the Toiletries was really nice. The room was of a good size for the price and very clean also a wideselection of food for breakfast and easy access to city centre. The hotel has elevators which is not easy to find in Amsterdam. Staff was very kind and helpful. The location was perfect for sight seeing in Amsterdam. It was in a great area - close to everything!. Approach of hotel staff and comfort.I asked for a large smoking room and thats exactly what I got. Although the beds were pushed together to make a double it didn't matter as the beds were so large. When in Amsterdam, I always stay at this hotel. Location and hotel staff are excellent. The location was perfect. Plenty good restaurants and bars in area too.Centrally located, nice rooms, friendly and competent staff. location, friendly staff, clean room. Perfect location. Very good location. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Great to still have tea and coffee making facitlities in the room. Great toiletries in the bathroom!. Quiet hotel, nice area, clean.Location, privacy.Location. Location. There was nothing outstanding about the hotel. It was a good clean place to stay. It was within a short distance of the tram stop. The staff was great- very helpful. Great location. The beds were ok- but the pillows were great!!!. The rooms were nice and the location was good.great location for the city -and quiet. location of the hotel, cleanliness.Near city centre, fair price.Convenient location in the center of Amsterdam. Relatively close (20-25 m walking distance) to the Central Station (but not that close as I've initially expected).Location, staff not intrusive, but helpful when asked. The location and view and services. the location was excelent, good rooms, silent positioning, good pillows. The location is really good. Excellent location. The rooms were clean and comfortable and hotel was well located near the tram station and walkable distance from the popular places (but during December it was extremely cold to walk). It was a fine expeirence, however, we felt that we have paid a lot of mony which was not worth it.not good, room is too small.Door onto Singelgracht should have a card entry system when it is closed.no. Although i didnt dislike anything in particular, i feel that a 24 hour resident bar would have been an advantage as all the bars and cafes's in the area closed quite early.we ordered a taxi for 6.45 thru the reception at 7.15 and several phone calls later we had to walk to the station. Breakfast was quite expensive. The elevator system. It was expensive, but then I know Amsterdam has higher cost levels, so I guess its overall okay. There was no air con in our room and the room was very very hot. The noise of the cleaners in the morning was poor. they would be cleaning rooms at 8.30am and making as much noise as possible. This is not fair on guest that are still there. Sound proofing was not to good either.Breakfast is much too expensive to take it, but there is an excelent bakery on the hotel corner with fresh sendwitches, sweets and fruit drinks.Rooms were a bit on small side, and a bit expensive for what it was. But it was cosy.No free Internet, you should pie 22 euro for 24 hours. The rooms are quite small, and window is tiny and very high up, so no view out of the room:( No milk/creamer for tea in the room. The smell in the lobby. Also booked smoking, got non-smoking room.A little bit pricey but to be expected in Amsterdam city centre. I thought the rate was rather high for this facility. The hallways were old and smelled a bit musky. The view was lookingright into another building. Other than the modern rooms, seemed morelike a hostel.lacks ambience. small room with poor,(sometimes), heating.WiFi expensive while it's free next corner. WiFi should be free. Breakfast to expensive - every corner serve if to 7-10 Euro.Room was very small (still Ok for 1-night stay). Internet access far too expensive. Would not stay there again for that reason. Should be included at no charge.poor cleaning, lot of dust under the table and under the bed, very expensive and poor breakfast (not recommendable) 17 euro!!! however, among the best in central amsterdam. seems that all dutch hotels from the centre have this problem of cleaning!. Food was bad and expensive. We got a room for handicapped people. The building is an old construction, the room rates were not worth what was charged and the hotel staff was not very helpful (we were not given a room until 3 in the evening and not even an alternate room to freshen-up).The room was very small comparing to other hotels at this level for 2 persons. When asking for a bigger room, we were answered that all rooms are the same, which is not true.We were very disappointed from the room!.
