Situated in the centre, all of Amsterdam’s main attractions are within walking distance or are just a short tram ride away. You will be within walking distance of the main shopping centre, coffee shops and the entertainment areas; meaning that there is something nearby for all tastes. The apartments are just a few steps away from the famous Rembrandt Square, while the flower market, the red light district and Dam Square are a short walk away.

Once you experience the fantastic value for money accommodation and the excellent location of the apartments then it is likely that you will want to come back. Eva will personally take care of you during your stay and is looking forward to welcoming you.

The location is fabulous. Imagine that you open the window and you see the boats on the Amstel river. Everything is within walking distance. The apartment was clean, all the appliances were functional. True value for money. eva was very helpful. The flat is very nice, has a good view, is convenient to everything, and there's even a taxi stand just across the street. Eva herself is great and will do everything possible to make one's stay enjoyable. This was my 2nd stay here and I plan on returning yet again.
all reviews » excellent location. Location,location,location. Everything was convenient and Eva made sure that all was in order. We walked up the gloriously European steep spiral stairs and our jaws dropped when we entered. Why live in a hotel when you can have a full apartment for only a little more! We ended up saving money by being able to store our food and cook there (with the included sandwich cooker) to take in meals at the apartment or while we were out. This was a wonderful place! Thanks Eva!. Close to the city centre. The location was great, the views fantastic and the original style and features of the apartment a fun experience.basic but adequate accommodation, excellent central location, smoker friendly. Closeness to city and the superb view. Price can't be beat.Location. It was in central Amsterdam, close to nice cafes and shopping. It also looks out to the Amstel canal.What we liked was its location. in the center of the city , 10 minutes walks from attractions. Nothing at all to dislike. Those who complain about the steep stairs don't know anything about Amsterdam. tough flight of stairs (minor). Stairs, but this was expected. Checking in was very informal and confusing. Of course we were renting an apartment, not a hotel but Eva came 2 days later to take our payment and then just by dropping by. This was in no way a major problem and only led to a little confusion.The WC was a little awkward to use. no toilet roll, had to buy from a shop!. Apartment has gotten older with age. May need some refurnishing down the road. Not clean. Internet facility not available. Had to make several phone calls and wait outside the apartment for 90 minutes before we got he keys.It did not say in the add that there was no lift, the stair case is very narrow and high, would not be good for an old couple. There were four flights of stairs to climb to get to the appartment. Inside the appartment you had to climb a ladder to get to the sleeping accommodation, and then crawl to the bed which was a mattress on the floor. In the bathroom the shower did not fit into the holder so therefore you had to hold the shower head to shower. To get into the bath to use the shower there was a wide wooden structure. hard to take the baggage up the stairs, no dish washer and washing maschine, (these were written to have), small shower, not a good quality room, very loud,.

Each studio and apartment has its own kitchen/kitchenette. It is fully equipped with dishes, pans, plates, fridge, electric cooking plates and a microwave.

Information about the area

The studios are located by the Amstel River, just behind the Rembrandtplein, near to the flower market and 5-10 minutes walking from Dam Square.

The apartments are located in the old Amsterdam area of the Jordaan, near the Westerpark. They are just a few tram/bus stops from the city centre.

Room information details

There are 2 apartments in the Jordaan area of the city, each with 2 bedrooms, living area and kitchen for 3 or 4 people.

There are also studios each for a maximum of 3 people, with one room (bedroom/living room) on the Amstel river, behind Rembrandt Square with views of the river and a private bathroom and kitchen.

Please mention when booking if you would like to have single or double beds. Please note that there is no lift in the building.

Travelling information

By Public Transport:
- Take a train from Schipol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station.
- From outside the station take tram numbers 4, 9, 24, or 25 for Munt.
- Get off at Muntplien.

There is also a taxi rank in front of the building and a hotel shuttle bus for Vijzelstraat.
